Thanks for video,l have an r1100rs and have been having trouble starting the bike.I have renewed all tank hoses and filter also fuel pump.New Bosch hall sensor, seems to have done everything that l can think of apart from fuel pressure Sensor. It seems to me to be the only part l haven't replaced, was this a big job as l see in the Haynes manual that the rear subframe needs moved?.Bike getting spark and has new Bosch starter. It a 1996 with 50,000mls many thanks
It's actually not too bad to replace the fuel pressure regulator, the subframe can be lifted and rotated to allow access. I think it took me about an hour or two to swap out mine.
Thanks for sharing this journey bro, you’re a legend handling all this out on your driveway! Good on ya! 🤩👊
Thanks for the encouragement.
Good job. I just bought a 1991 R1100R with 8,800 miles on it. Mint. Looking forward to some long rides.
thanks, it’s taken a while to sort out. I’ve really enjoyed my test rides and I’m looking forward to more this summer.
