    Regarding the health claims: the one that is true is that standing in one place for too long is bad. Sitting for too long is bad. And standing desks allows you to switch frequently

    I love my Uplift. Was perfect out of the box. Ever single hold was drilled with absolute precision. No one screw went in at an angle. I got the 31x72. Best desk I have ever owned. Very high quality.

    I’ve had this one as well for about a year now and I love it! It is also great being able to buy accessories for it later on. It is a solid, well made desk that won’t disappoint you. Pricey but worth it. They have great warranty too (15 years!). Thanks for the video!

    I am a shut-in, and I got the uplift V2 desk...with various add-ons and two motors...and it is quality--no doubt. Others, who have seen it are very impressed with my desk...no, it wasn't ccheap, but even though I am on a fixed income, it was worth it...I am very pleased with its quality and have no buyer's remorse.

    I wanted uplift myself. I found information out about the manufacturer on reddit. I was able to decide on a competitor that fit me and my price range perfectly and am happy. Standing desks are 100% worth it.

    Have you had any issues with stability on the 2-leg desk? I've seen some other videos of people claiming the 2-leg version wasn't as sturdy as the hoped. I am trying to decide between the 2-leg v2 (walnut butcher block) and the 4-leg v2 (same material).

    • @AmitPansare42

      I was lucky to have their warehouse near me. I went in and tested both V2 2-leg and 4-leg. The 2-leg has a noticeable shake while standing. It is best to get a V2 desk with 4-leg - rock solid. I tested it. You don't need to get a 4-leg commercial variety. If you are shorter than 5 feet 6 inches, get commercial, as it gets lower.

    I have one and it is clunky when pressing the down button. The company doesn't stand behind the product and says it is functioning. However, it is not functioning as engineered. The product performance does not match the price point. Motors do not perform well over time.

    A miscommunication in product. They don’t explicitly say the V2 4 leg version does not have the ability to mount power strip to the FRAME. You don’t have pre-drilled holes. You can install the strip by drilling small holes to the underside of the desk.

    I've had nothing but problems with this desk. I have the largest L-shape desk they offer. First off, the desk top was broken in two when I received it. I had to wait on another. Once I started putting it together one of the sliding supports underneath was bent. They replaced it. Finally I get it put together and its uneven. They sent me another leg but I was working 80 hours from home. I discussed with the tech support person and we decided I could place something under the desk to prop it up while I changed the leg. This did not fix the problem. However, upon further contact they changed their story and stated that by using the prop it could have bent the frame. Keep in mind the problem was the same as it was in the beginning so using the prop didn't create any new problems. They stopped trying to help. Since then I have had to perform resets every few days otherwise the desk gets VERY un-level. A few weeks ago it stopped resetting. The right leg makes a clicking/whirring noise. I'll have to replace that leg now and break down everything I have on this desk, take it apart, flip it over and replace the leg HOPING it will work. I wish I had never purchased this product. With all of the accessors + desk, I paid over $3k for it and its useless as a standing desk now.

      Their QC is absolute junk. I got mine delivered today after waiting 2 months, and while assembling (not even passing the first page), I noticed the drill hole won't align. So decided to take a measurement myself vs forcing the screws into the drill holes. Out of the 4 drill hole (leg connector) distance I measured here is the reading: 2" 8/12; 2" 7/12; 2" 6/12 (this one was the worst as the 2 drill hole is not even on the same level -verticle I measured a 2/12 shift, so even tho horizontal distance is somewhat in the middle, you can't really fit it in on either side); 2" 5/12

      @shakes268 Рік тому

      @@dingzhuxi Mine wasn't too bad on that and the monitor stands, etc are still doing well. It's the legs and the control box are junk with what I received. I have speculated that it might be weight on one side but with an L shaped desk thats how its going to be.

      @@Ev200818 I spoke to a sales person a few months ago. He was unaware of my problems before contacting me. He was trying to drum up more business I suppose. I explained my issues and he said he wanted to help correct what happened but nothing ever came of it. PLEASE...pickup an enthusiast magazine from 2 plus decades ago. Can be anything like Audiofile / stereo or biking, or woodworking ANYTHING. Then please look at when the review equipment. Because the people who review things today ARE HORRIBLE. Always, always skipping actual critical reviews. Are yo getting paid??? Probably. WHICH IS MOST STABLE??????
    Extended, retracted etc... Uplift has a commercial V2 but their customer service states it is not anymore stable. Is that true??? NOTHING about this here.
    Reliability? NO not warranty, reliability. A 10 year warranty is great if they come and fix it, they wont! In fact they may not be in business in 10 years or be sold.
