This looks great! One suggestion I have that changed my life: see if your desk company sells rolling wheels for your desk. It is great to have. I have moved my desk from wall to wall in my office when I wanted different lighting, and the rolling wheels make it so much easier.
Alternatively you can get rolling boards that you can place under your legs when you move the desk. (You get them in hardware stores and you are meant to sit on them and roll when doing lower tasks). Handy to have.
I like how you tried all the possible options before finally settling in. Props to your husband for his patience with the process. He clearly understands and is willing to help out! Congrats on the beautiful and spacious office!!! In love.

Haha. The Libra comment got me! I’m a Libra too. 😅 the best way to deal with this- know that you can always change it around. I do that quite often ☺️ nothing is permanent

Your office is lovely! I did wonder if there's a reason you didn't try it sort of in the part that's towards the kitchen? Like with the desk coming off the little wall parting there (making a semi-horseshoe shape - kind of - with the wall behind, the short wall towards the kitchen and the desk), with you facing the window when you're sitting at your desk. It'll still have all the light of that beautiful room, but be more hidden from the kitchen/living area, and you could have a lovely chill area in front of the window. Bonus: no direct sun on you (nice for many reasons) as you work. Sorry, I just tend to see a room and automatically decorate it, it's a sad personality trait.

Would you recommend the chair? I love it but I’m nervous about the mesh back being enough support!
I would have the table floating but facing the window and have the drawers behind me. So the desk wouldn’t be centred in the room, push it a bit back but it’s still ‘floating’
That way you can have your lounge against the window also.

Finally! I did it. For those that it might help. If you are struggling with trying to get the clamp in, try with a piece of carton from packaging on it. All of my shoes have cushion so it was really difficult. I had to wear security shoes from work, even that it didnt work well enough. I had to put layers of carton on it and step on it, it works wonder. Hope this helps!

Hi! I just set up the same, a standing desk and underdesk treadmill, but by day 3 every time I turn on my treadmill on it affects my two monitors as they start to flicker slowly. Did you have this issue?
Are plugging it into the same outlet as your computer? Maybe plug into a separate outlet. I haven’t had that issue but sounds more like an energy issue to me!

i sometimes side cross legged! but i wouldn’t say it’s the comfiest position. I find I sit up straight better in this chair!

IKEA :) I think it normally comes with doors but we choose drawers instead. And then I bought hardware from rejuvenation

I absolutely love your standing desk, however, I can't fathom spending over $2k with other great brands out there. Not to mention, sadly Ergonofis doesn't have the tradition desktop sizing that most people have the space for :(
