You know you've arrived if you've played with Tal. As an old Deadhead and huge jazz buff I give my praise young man, you have intonation well beyond your years, along with solid chops and a firm understanding of music. Bless you Saxon, never stop playing! Gotta give some luv to Tal, bringing it as always
Oh my! You held your own with Tal and then some! I loved the joy of of the other musicians watching you play. You are truly blessed and the future is bright for you!
This kid is so humble. He seems to just love being part of the experience. Had to drag him to take his rightful spotlight here. How cool is that. Guess we'll have to add another genre to Saxon repertoire. Classic, rock, blues, folk, R and B, now a kick ass Reggie vibe.
I like the way Tal pushed you to the front when you soloed. I started playing out when I was 14. Getting comfortable playing with other "older" players is important. You are there. Stay the course.
Yes, me too, it is SO important to have these opportunities! I'm still feeding my kids and paying my mortgage with a guitar at 56, and I'm so lucky to have had early opportunities to play with older awesome musicians from around age 14 (thanks Dad!). as Tim said, Saxon, stay the course. 45 years in, I promise you the whole journey is the best you could ever take!
