at one time i had 3, 19" monitors! to much space 2010
so just upgraded to 2, 24" big monitors and a 40" TV 2015
then i upgraded 1, 32" monitor and a 50" TV 2020

Lots of love on this video so far! For the people complaining about the links, the rainmeter skins I used have all been fixed to original links, however the wallpapers were just copied from a giant wallpaper thread on Reddit that had over 1000s lol, I'll try my best over the weekend to find original links for you guys - but don't worry, the links will not "give you a virus" like people are saying, I've been using wallpapers from that Reddit thread for years and never had an issue!
Is there any way you could link to the images directly?
I find it nice that you put adds on the links :/

People are saying it's giving people viruses because you used a shorten link site that puts ads on it which if people get tricked into will give them viruses. Next time I recommend to not use that.

@@noahk i have 16gb ram and it takes up barely any and when you maximize a window it pauses the wallpaper which the ram usage also goes down
a rainmeter wars series would be pretty dope. WOuld be really cool to see the community submitting their submissions for their desktops.

The problem with Rainmeter is you setout to do some cool minimalist shit, next thing you know you've gone down the rabbit hole, you've gotten lost in the bowels of deviantart and time and space has lost all meaning
Took me 1 day to fully create mine while also modified the modules I downloaded to fit my expectations. Worth it.

Rainmeter won't open . When I click on it it just refuses to open. What can I do?
That means you probably have an un-updated version of Widnows 7 or something, once you go to the link, you have to click *old versions* and go to the tip where it says 3.3.3, it should open after you download that version
Casper Ko I know I'm late, but after you open it, you click on the rainmeter icon in the tray on the taskbar. Hope this helps :)

rainmeter isn't one of those seven, It was scanned by 68 anti viruses, No threat has been found, not even malwarebytes said it was a virus.

Rainmeter is awesome, I've been using it off and on since it came out in '01. I'm still surprised at how many people don't know it exists, actually just yesterday I was explaining it to someone.

You can also use Photoshop and create different layers. Things like the visualizer blend in pretty good behind the mountains for example

Hey Frank! You should make a similar version of this video for Mac users. I use a MacBook Pro for school and would love to do something like this to my desktop, but I am always unsure about going to certain websites and downloading random links hoping that it is the file I want. I definitely plan on coming back to this video later once I get my PC, but for now tuition is consuming all of my funds ;) Thanks for the great videos!

What I want to know is how did you hang your monitor to get their borders to line up properly. Mine keep being off, like one higher than the other or one slightly tilting, where they aren't flush.
