    I have dentures, got them at 70 years old. As much as I hate the dentures, I don't want the maintenance of implants and trips to the dentist without dental insurance . With dentures, you can just soak the dentures and brush the gums. Down side, you lose some food taste , and the bottom plate tends to slide around. Then there's the expense of implants, like she said, the cost of a new car that's always in the garage getting repaired. If I were younger, I would try to go with implants. But for now, it's dentures for me and the occasional trips to the dentist to get my perm dentures realigned. A side note when home I eat soups and soft foods without having my dentures in. I am happy for the pretty young lady, braving her story and getting implants.

      I think you make a very good point. whatever you have ' As long as it transforms YOUR life', then that's all that's required. The older the patient, I hope the more wise the patient is to accept that ultimate perfection isn't possible.

      @@Prettyrickyboxing The jaw bone will deterioate regardless what you do. My parents had dentures and they did fine for as long as I knew them, a lot of years. So simply having dentures seeems to me to be ok. Getting used to them may be a different story, however to repeat myself, my parents ate everything, steak, etc. and they had plain dentures for as long as I knew them which was a lot of years, since I was a little kid and they grew old and passed away, god rest their soles. My parents never went to the dentist or complained about their dentures in all the time I knew them.

      @@AMGbrakedancerI had my consultation, start up today with Dr. Randy Robert’s. I’m getting the surgery next Monday. I’ve been following this 3 on 6 invention since the very beginning. There is NOTHING else like it. And aside from having your natural teeth, i couldn’t imagine anyone else coming up with anything better in the future. I flew in to see Dr. Robert’s because he was only 1.5 hours away and you can’t get better than going to the creator of the procedure. It is quite costly…. But, how much is your life worth to you? Your health, happiness, quality of life? Every other option will in the long run, end up costing you so much more money, they are much more invasive or will over time be detrimental to the health of your mouth and bone. If you are thinking about it, do it. Get a consultation at least. Consultations are free and they offer them through zoom, you would just need to provide a panoramic photo of your mouth.

    I had a very successful, full-arch FP-1 procedure performed in Texas 3 months ago. I'm currently in my temporary prostheses and will receive my permanent, zirconia implant bridges next month. I was originally scheduled to have All-on-4 performed in my home state but became dissatisfied with the proposed procedure when I was informed about the amount of healthy gum & bone that was going to be removed in order to make room for the All-on-4 abutments and prostheses. Personally, I couldn't be happier with my decision.

    • @chiptreks
      @chiptreks 5 місяців тому +9

      @@kpopbillionaire The All-on-4 procedure requires a certain amount of your jawbone (upper and lower) to be removed in order for the prostheses to fit. This results in the need for the fake gums you see on the All-on-4 dentures. All-on-4 dentists refer to this as "smoothing", but in reality, it is removal of approximately 1/2 inch of bone and gum tissue from your upper and lower jaw. The FP-1 procedure I chose preserved all my bone and gum tissue which resulted in a much more natural result and prostheses with no fake gums.

    Quote from a local dentist to do the 3 on 6 is 55k. I know it’s expensive but look at what it entails. The experience the dentist surgeon has and the complexity of the whole process cannot be cheap. It’s a surgery and those teeth and life changing. Not only for looks but so people can eat and enjoy the foods they want and be healthier. I’m saving for my procedure now and cannot wait. I’m so excited.

    I had my implant and zirconia crown done 8 moths ago and I can say I've gone to a mix of both proceedure. I have 4 implants and a full arch zirconia bridge with no fake gums. in my case it looks more natural and i dont like pinks on my teeth, i also have low lip smile so no gums are showing. I think it's really depend on your gum situation, your implant doctor should very much trained to know what will suit best for you. you should also research and have knowledge on how each proceeddure works so you won't have to regret the outcome. I am very happy with the result and transformation of my new set of teeth. And implant with zirconia is your best bet and a long term investment to summarize all we spent over years of repairs, restoration and frustration.

    One place I went for consultation in FL, New Teeth Now, say you leave day of surgery with a full set of Zirconia (not temp plastic) implants, so you can eat solid foods within a couple of days, and they look more natural. Then in six/eight months when gums settle down you go back for permanent set of implants.
    They say, with Zirconia implants, you do not have to wear a mouth guard while sleeping, like required with Porcelain.
    They offered both All-On-Four or solid bridge implants with no fake gums (more expensive), like what you are calling 3-on-6…. except one solid piece implant. Choice seems to matter how thick your gums are and how much natural gum is between teeth?

    GREAT VIDEO! I have a somewhat broad question as I know you can't really give advice without seeing. I have had all my back teeth implanted individually over time over the course of 3 years. I do wonderful with implants. Slowly but surely due to grinding and cracking the root, I gradually start to get closer and closer to the front now having a canine pulled due to a crack and its just exhausting. I know I'll need root canals on the teeth close to the front as I can feel it. I'm considering removing the last top 6 (which look great) and the bottom 8. Can this be done without doing individual implants? Do I need to have the back 10-ish implants all removed or can I just leave those and add top and bottom implant bridge? Thank you, just looking for a bit of professional advice

    What if you “just” need half of your upper arch a FP1? And your front teeth and opposite side have crown bridges that need replacing because of tooth decay ? I have not found one video that talks about this! I had almost all of my upper arch repaired with all crown bridges.a month ago you part or my front teeth crown bridge that had all filled down teeth ,the two teeth to the right of my front teeth broke off and the two natural teeth behind them never got fixed so they now need to be removed. So im self destructing that to fix that side of my smile i need a Fp1 implant bridge,while at the same time all of the crown bridges i still have from my font two teeth and all the teeth to the left side are beautiful crowns that are showing tooth decay at the gum line need to be replaced with new crowns? I have not found a video on this situation because i possibly don’t need a complete upper 3-6 if all the other teeth crowns can be repaired?????

      I had 6 full size upper implants done and 4 lower implants with all on six and all on four fixed bridges and paid 9000$ in Colombia. It was the same exact procedure I was quoted 85k in the USA. Be smart save your money dental tourism is a great thing.

      It’s expensive but they have to charge appropriately. Most people have no issue buying and financing new vehicles that depreciate and this investment will be for ones life health and happiness. I love cars but my mouth is more important.

    FP1- most people probably are not good candidates because of the amount of gum tissue they show when smiling
