I cant believe these days are gone away for good this world will never have times like this again, the last period of time when you had the best time you could possibly have and Van Halen was the very top band that you could ever have seen to have the time of your life, damn i miss those times and i can't believe they are gone for good, R.I.P. the greatest guitar slinger to ever strap on an axe, the Goat Mr. Eddie Van Halen.

People who grew up in the 50s said the same thing when the 60s happened. And when the 70s happened everyone said the same thing about the 60s. It's just evolution. Appreciate that it happened and move on. The good old days weren't always good, and tomorrow isn't as bad as it seems.

Remember $1.7 million is what they supposably got paid just for that 90 minute gig. They earned their money that night and every other nights they played. Nope, 46, was around to see VH's heyday. Van Halen is great, but David Lee Roth was a cheesy fucker. Running around and doing the splits has nothing to do with music. Also, go back and watch Jim Dandy of Black Oak Arkansas and you'll see where DLR got a lot of his on stage antics.

@ Jerri Like David Lee Roth said, "It's rock'n roll music that you can actually dance to!" I saw them in 1982 at the Forum and it was mind blowing!! This song sounded just like I remember it...just a million times louder!

Thats how I remember them---loud and fun and full of energy. This is why I would never go see them now. I saw them when they were at their peak, and I don't want that memory soiled.

I agree. Saw them in the early 80's twice and prefer to remember them in their prime. No band was better in the early 80's.

Amen! Good friend of mine asked me to go see them on their latest reunion tour I declined. I told him I have this memory of them from the FW & DD tour and that’s how I always want to remember VH.

What many don’t get about DLR vocals is he is a weird cross between a fire brimstone preacher and broadway stage actor with a dash of Rock n roll pixie dust

Just came from watching a DLR video from 2020 playing this song. After 2 minutes, I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to see the real stuff. Not the wreck he’s making of it now. Thank you, VH for the memories. This was a stellar production.
