Just stumbled over your channel after a couple of years of on and off fusioning (but really getting into it now). Loved your video on multiple canvasses (other video), so self-explanatory haha. Really enjoy your thoughts and approach for tackling a problem. Subscribed!

Awesome! The next episode should be released on Monday. The following Monday should be episode 3. Also, I’m using one right now and it shaves incredibly well. Stay tuned!
@@learnitalready I was re-watching and realized you don't set any angle to the blade in the beginning. Did you eye-balled it? If so, great job! I was wondering if I could set a specific angle, maybe using a control spline? What would you use?
@@facundomedica6357 Yes, just eyeballed it and made an educated guess. You could definitely use a spline with control points. I can’t think of any reason why an arc wouldn’t work just fine too.
@@learnitalready Sounds good, I'll do some experimentation. I was reading Henson's tech specs and they specify a 30 degree angle at the blade, let's see if I can apply that + what I learnt here. Also, I didn't know pcbway had such a service! This video was so informative!
@@learnitalready so I used a couple of construction lines to ensure that the blade finishes at 30°. Then the blade itself was a "conical spline" iirc, and the end of it was constrained to the 30° line. I printed a first test with resin and it worked pretty well, I even shaved a small patch of my face. I made a ton of mistakes on the bottom plate tho, I really need video part 2 lol!!
Thanks for this great video, and please keep continuing with this series! I'm waiting on my first desktop CNC and this is exactly the first major project that I wanted to do.
Greets from Germany! This my first goto channel when learning more about CAD with Fusion. It would be great if you can do an example like designing a boat hull, how to flatten the parts to get them cut from the metal store. It could be a little metal fishing boat. That would be awesome as I am struggling to flatten the parts and send the part list to cnc metal shop that can use my dxf or other files to programm their cnc maschine.
What an awesome message and great suggestion! Thank you so much. That sounds like a perfect tutorial to put on my list. Let’s see what the future brings.
Thanks so much! Part 2 will hopefully be released this week and part 3 next week. Did you see on our UA-cam Community page that we received the entire assembly now? I’ve already been shaving with one and love it! Best razor I’ve ever used, and I’m not just saying that just because I made it. I’m quite shocked it shaves this nicely. Stay tuned!
Unfortunately, when you change the scale in Fusion it does not update the title block it is the first scale you put down. So when you changed it to 2:1 it did not update on the title block.
Ah yes! Good catch! I saw that much later on after all the parts were finished. Good note though about scaling that it doesn’t update automatically. Thanks for commenting!
@@Gameknighth Ah, I see. If you watch the last couple minutes of tutorial 2/3 you'll understand why. I'm giving away one of these safety razors. Details are all found at the end of tutorial 2/3.
My Fusion 360 skills have multiplied since finding your channel!
Awesome! Thanks for letting us know.
I love safety razors
Already watched, but leaving a comment for the draw
😎
I love safety razors and would also love to see part 3 of this tutorial series! :)
Thanks so much! Part 3 has been recorded and so close to being finished. Stay tuned.

I was just doing some research to design and 3D print one in my resin 3D printer. Great timing, I'll be waiting for the next episodes!

Great!
is there a email where we can email about issues we have in learning with our own designs? just stuck
Absolutely! Our business email is on our about section of our UA-cam channel.
