      Great! Glad someone commented on that. It’s a unique tool that, in my experience, few know of. Thanks for commenting!

    Single line extrude was a new one for me. Not a criticism but curious as to why you didn’t use solid wood material/appearance? Great tutorial, explaining why a tool or feature is used is often missed.

      Glad you benefitted! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
      As for the appearance, I didn’t want to go into great detail about different types, but just wanted to show that we can change the texture mapping so that it looks more natural.
      May I ask, what appearance did you use? What settings did you find worked the best?

    Here's a tip that will help with selecting the few surfaces you want to keep from the many you want to delete -
    1) Select the few surfaces that you want to keep (in this example, the 'top' surfaces that will become the grip).
    2) Then under the 'Select' Menu, choose 'Selection Tools' --> 'Invert Selection' and the opposite surfaces will all be selected.
    3) Simply hit delete and the surfaces you want will be retained.
    I can't believe I can actually add something useful to these tutorials. 😂😂 Hope someone else finds this useful.

    Awesome Videos. Keep it up. I always learn something from your videos. I've been using thin extrude for awhile now to split objects, but the intersect command works so much better without having to delete all the excess bits.... Thanks and yes add the wheels.

    Excellent video, easy to follow. Great delivery. Sure would like to see the wheels added. Just when I am getting a grip on Fusion. A totally new way of doing things. I will keep this in my Tool box. Thank you

    ua-cam.com/video/I3Rqew_JKGU/v-deo.html you can just go to the timeline and double click to edit as well, instead of right click and edit. shortcuts for life haha

    • @learnitalready
      @learnitalready  5 місяців тому +1

      Very good point! Funny enough, I have recommended that in many other tutorials, but many of my students and many commenters struggle with double clicking it for some reason. The bullet-proof way is to right-click and go to edit. Thanks for commenting!

    • @birdmananyweather1681
      @birdmananyweather1681 5 місяців тому +1

      @@learnitalready I only double click until I click on the wrong thing to edit on the timeline.... because then I have to cancel the edit sketch and then ill right click and edit on the correct one which ends up taking longer lol so I guess its better until its not haha
