Just retired 33 years, last week, I walked out. I put my ear buds in to listen this song walking home . Why i chose it , well My wife said it's time to reinvent yourself. But rather, ive been contemplating what I did before work , life, bills took over. Responsibilities drove out a young man who dreamed, painted when life was young. Lovely to see myself again , my friend..I never considered this till I listened to Justin in this video.❤😊
So glad you wrote this - we’re currently planning our retirement - beautiful to read your comment - lovely to meet you - the Moody Blues after 50 years a true community of musical friends - the MBs have given us the most awesome, inspiring and beautiful music. Thank you Moodies.
Finally moved on from the Gibson 335 which he bought when he was 15 and played most of his career. Then a Martin D-28 for a while, now seems to have settled on the Collings D2.
I saw him when he was here in Maryland on October 7 and I never get tired of hearing his stories or his songs. I have been a fan since 1972. Thanks Dan.
My favorite Moodys song. I used to think what a great tune but too short;...I've grown to just love it over the years and its probably the best opening song of any show ever written.
Whatever we thought of them in the privacy of our home stereo (as good as we could afford then), they were a real rock n roll show, Live. At home, I poured over them as my stereos got better & better. I bought everything new, from Days to Octave & Blue Jays and Ray Thomas', From Mighty Oaks. I have The Anthology 2CD set for the later MBs hits, plus their DVD Hits. Quite a band!
In my younger days, my underage friends and I would go to brother in law;'s hous3 on Friday nights. He would buy us beer and we would listen to the only album he had. This one.
True story. I drive for Uber in Las Vegas and I just so happen to pick a young English guy and his lovely girl friend about 5 to 6 years ago. He was Mike Dawes and then he told me he was back up to JH and I was ecstatic and he gave me his autograph. Classy young guy
This is just perfect. The line-up looks fun, fresh, intimate, and so easy to tour with I can imagine. The songs from the band's best songwriter are just great and a joy to hear in this acoustic manner. The Moody Blues as a band should now be laid to rest if they are still as embarrassingly bad as they were in a clip of I saw of them recently. 😀

What did we believe in and love in the 60 s ? Justin hayward & and paul mccartneys music
My favorite song that Justin has done. Still sounds wonderful in his seventies. He’s been a treasure to the musical world for50+ years.
I want to use the album version of this song for pre game shoot around for girl's HS basketeball.
That’s a great sounding acoustic guitar. And what a great song. Justin Hayward is a musical treasure.

I love to listen to hear Justin speak. He has such a beautiful voice. He is also such a great story teller. God bless Justin and his family.
Every now and then you can just about hear a Wiltshire twang.
Love hearing his stories and songs. I've been a fan since I was a kid. Thanks for sharing, Dan!

This is one of Justin Hayward best stores…
I have seen Justin Hayward twice and both times he put on great shows. Quite the entertainer and comedian.
What a gent! What a voice! What a song!
Also a fan since 1972. New turntable, new vinyl, nothing could be better then.
Awesome!!!! Thank you Justin!
Another lovely song, thank you Dan for capturing these rare moments and to Justin and the crew thank you for all the years of Brilliant Bodatiousness!

BK Swanson Thanks for your compliments. I love filming at Justin’s concerts as long as the venue lets me. Can’t wait to see him again.

I love the way Julie has the Yamaha logo duct-taped to read AHA!
Rosemary Stanley I see paying attention to the intricate details. Nice find and maybe just brilliant in her part.

like other moody blues tunes, absolutely exquisite!

Hey! That's Mike Dawes on stage with him! That would have been a fantastic concert! Wow!
That's Mike Dawes, one of the worlds finest acoustic guitarists backing Justin here.
Justin isn’t bad in his own right!
@@paulc80 True! He had a very nice and unique lead sound, and not a bad rhythm guitarist either.

Forever Moody.
💖
Wondering why he has not been made a Sir like Mike Jagger, Elton John and Paul McCartney.
Great Song, Great Story. Couldn't keep up with all the cord changes.
Lovely
He should do audio books
how do you practice that high note !!! :)
Great hair
I met a guy who saw Hendrix and Pink Floyd on the same bill. He said he didn’t remember it though.
