I hope this will teach WB (and all the other studios) a thing or two about keeping a monster as their leading actor.
It was lose lose. They'd of had to spend a fortune to reshoot the movie with no guarantee it would do any better. He was literally in every scene. He's obviously done now.
If you really think that big percentage of the international audience was interested in the allegations of a leading actor in the summer blockbuster they could watch, you are delusional. DCEU's condition and reputation among casual moviegoers is the real reason this movie bombed
WB was fucked no matter what they did. The movie was shot well before Ezra imploded, but the film kept getting delayed and rewritten (which ballooned their budget). I don't think a lesson has been learned at the end of the day (aside from never hiring Ezra Miller ever again).
@ThatGuy-jj3kz The lesson is: Don't use people who have been dead for over 20 years and clips of Nicholas Cage Superman project that was never finished as Cameos to energize the DC fanbase.
I know John has said previously “the general audience doesn’t know about Ezra Miller’s crimes”, due to the sheer number of incidents I think the general audience probably already knows.
My male and female friends decided not to go for the movie just because of that I went alone
It’s Ezra Miller. From my little circle of movie going friends a lot of them say they won’t see The Flash cuz of Ezra. That’s unfortunate cuz imo The Flash is probably in my top 3 favorite DC movies of all time.
Went to a packed screening of this movie this past Saturday and you can tell the vibe was off whenever Ezra came up on screen.
So for pretty much the entire movie? 😆
😂
Packed screening, hm I doubt that.
@@GenZealous it was packed on the first weekend at my theatre.
Blue Beatle will be lucky to cross $200 million. DC needs to take a break.
MCU Wanda: What 100+ million?
It will
blue beetle is a guaranteed flop
It’s not a mystery. It was Ezra Miller. The modern moviegoing audience does its homework these days and the studio underestimated how many “Joe blow public” movie goers did their research and were aware and chose not to support a film starring a highly toxic individual.
Most movie audiences don't know who he is.
@@LouieR.4682 You continue to make the same mistake that WB did. Good thing it didn't cost you a few million $s.
Protecting Ezra and covering his back, like the director did, didn't help it either. I guess people , especially casual viewers didn't forget and didn't forgive like they hoped
Honestly this is one of the big reasons i couldnt get myself to go. If at some point the studio would have said something like, " due to allegations we a parting ways with Ezra, this behavior is not something we can condone or support. However we think our team has made a great film and we wish to support all involved with the production of this film and thank them for a great job." if they had said something like that, maybe i could have convinced myself to see the movie. TBH Keaton isnt a draw for me to see this movie but there are things about this movie that do make me really want to see it eventually.
You blame that? Why not blame DC Fans for not supporting any DC Property movies recently. Not just The Flash, The Suicide Squad, The Batman, WW84, Black Adam, Birds of Prey. These movies me be hot garbage but wheres the support from the DC Fan base. They love talking shit to Marvel Fans saying “We Have Better Characters, Better Stories, Better Villains.” Yet with all that their movies are complete dogshit and no support at all whatsover. Or is it because DC fans are actually not that big compared to Marvel Fans. If I were DC just Shutdown completely for another 10 Years. There’s no demand on their Characters at all. Black Adam and The Flash got their first Cinematic Movies and yet it flops. Who cares about the backstory situation with Hamada or Ezra. Nobody wants to watch these characters. Pull the plug and stop making DC Movies until there is demand. Period. No Money, No Profit
@@AlvinWazHere. Dude. Please. For yours and all our sakes ...Please stfu.
DCEU was born in agony and then died a long and painful death. The Flash is just a victim of a sinking ship
That first sentence is on point.
@@LouieR.4682 the second one also
The studio going for the mat for Ezra Miller when he is a dime a dozen and easily replaceable rubbed people the wrong way. Frankly Ezra Miller should be doing hard time in prison for any one of the crimes his expensive lawyers got him off for
There was that first incident in Iceland that’s well documented that went unpunished, albeit by the previous regime. At the same time as the Iceland incident, there was that Hartley Sawyer guy who got fired from a CW show for *past* Tweets.
There was a lot of factors working against this movie.
The fact that it got delayed multiple Times. Ending changed multiple times
The restructuring of DC made this movie a little pointless
Ezras behavior.
Releasing in an already insane packed schedule. Movies like spiderman, transformers, elemental
People won't show up to support a predator like Miller
DC needs a break for 5 years at least. They can use these span of time to build their universe.
I'm a huge DC fan since a kid and I agree with this. They need to take a good break and then come back big.
Yeah, I do worry that with Blue Beetle and Aquaman still to come, that Superman Legacy is following a little too closely and might just fall into that same pit of failure that every DC film seems to fall into these days. Flash and Shazam 2 weren’t even bad movies, but man did they bomb hard.
Love seeing that Elemental did better than Flash this past weekend, and hoping it continues 🙏
*yeah I know it wasn't a box office hit but I still think it's the better movie
James gunn has his work cut out for him bringing life to this corpse of a franchise
And he's not doing himself any favors by promoting this film and talking to much about stuff .. just manage and stfu Gunn lol
At least DC still has The Batman and Joker.
Gunn: "So Shazam and The Flash bombed hard, what's next on the schedule?"
Assistant: "Blue Beetle sir"
Gunn: "Oh Sh*t"
If some people thought Flash was a niche character, imagine Blue Beetle. I never read the comics, so first time hearing of Blue Beetle.
And idiot Snyderverse bros still think people still care about Snyderverse? This franchise should have been rebooted years ago.
There's nothing about this movie that says Snyderverse except that they kept some of his cast and then attached them to a desperate Marvel-lite script.
I kept saying no one was gonna watch it. Well…maybe not the ppl who watch this show but I knew it would perform poorly bc (1) DC sucks, (2) it was barley promoted, and (3) no one wanted to support Ezra
Once Ezra’s…history (?) went viral on TikTok a few weeks ago I knew it was a wrap for this movie
And before the DC fanboys lose it, by “DC sucks” I mean they have an atrocious movie reputation among the general public and so no one is inherently interested in their films outside of fellow comic book nerds
I saw it this weekend and I have to say aside from the Ezra thing it doesn't deserve to be this big of a box office disaster
When it failed in the first week I said wait until the second week and I have nothing to say now😂😢😮
Personally, I think it’s a combination of factors. Mainly the DCEU as a whole was plagued with bad writing and terrible looking CGI and people eventually got bored. They tried too hard to catch up with Marvel Studios instead of making good superhero movies.
They should have taken their time. If they did they would have been in a position to capitalize on marvels mistakes
It’s just insane to me that ten years into this cinematic universe WB has continued to make this much of a mess of their DC properties
so marvel sets records for opening weekend, box office gross etc
DCEU sets records for flops and drops 🤣
72.3% drop in the second weekend? That’s a major ouch!
Indeed
I'm sorry but who the hell wants a blue beetle movie? Of all the D.C. characters to choose from that's the best you can come up with. I would rather see a justice society movie depicting hawkman, Dr fate and all the rest of the team. Anyway but that's just me.
@@russelljackson8153
I absolutely agree. I hated black Adam but I loved the depiction of hawkman and Dr fate were always my favorite D.C. characters.
blue beetle is going to flop
@@howdareyouexist
That would be my guess.
@Gamer97704
Well then I'm happy for you cause you're gonna get it. 😄
James Gunn didn't help much either by announcing his DC reboot too soon. He should have waited much later after the release of Aquaman.
Black Adam made more than The Flash! Somewhere The Rock is laughing and I don't blame him. We should have let his Seven Bucks production company take over the direction of DC. James Gunn and David Zaslav overhyped this film and they should both be worried.
I said the same thing this weekend. The Rock and Henry Cavill are both sitting back laughing their asses off after hearing this news! 😂😂😂😂😂
@@aarong3000 Right?!? This is such a bad and embarrassing look for WBD/DC/Zaslav/Gunn. I know this movie was made before Gunn took over but he advertised and marketed the hell out of it while being stone cold quiet when it came to Black Adam
@@willdebeast21 Yep, I think Gunn and WB wanted Black Adam to fail. Why are you going to release a new character and movie like that 2 weeks before Wakanda Forever comes out. They wanted to sabotage the Rock!
@@aarong3000 100% agreed. And now karma comes back to bite them. I like most of Gunn's movies but the way he came in and kicked out Cavill and The Rock left such a sour taste in my mouth. Looks like the general public felt the same!
I hate it simply because ppl really in this day an age really wanna excuse Ezra for the crazy crap he’s done.. then they really got the balls to try gettin others to excuse him too.
“ guys just enjoy the movie but totally forget all Ezra did just for the movie” gtfo wit that.
Who said they want to excuse Ezra for his actions?
No lie I didn't watch the movie because of Ezra. I was legit curious about the movie but I would've felt like too much of a hypocrite if I watched the flash after seeing all the shit Ezra did. I'll catch it for free in a bit.
The biggest mistake was that they thought that casual viewers don't know anything about Ezra's crime.. well, they do.. much more than you think. They don't know much about the character of Flash but they saw him many times on news. I know many people who said to me, the trailers looked ok, so I would go to see it but I don't want to watch a pedophile and a woman beater on the screen, especially if he is playing a role of a hero, which is absurd.
@@GefilteFish.A lot of people were saying " go see the movie to support the other people that worked on it" like Ezra wasn't a part of it.
The silver-lining is that maybe they will finally recast Ezra Miller. Controversy aside I absolutely hate his portrayal of Barry Allen
Guess it’ll hit Max earlier than I thought
@@WyndamnI won’t be that harsh 😂but if not next month, the end of August. Very telling since Avatar: The Way of Water finally got on Max after 6 months.

They'll probably squeeze 2 more weeks out of it.
I feel terrible for michael keaton and even worse for sasha calle. They were the bright lights of that movie imho.
Can we agree that calling suicide squad a great movie is weird
he was talking about James Gunn's The Suicide Squad which IS a great movie
The James Gunn movie is definitely great
obviously talking about the second one
Gunn's version was great
Two things where a big factor in this movies flop:
1. Ezra Miller himself: it’s no secret, Ezra is scum of the earth. The fact the WBD knew what was going on and chose to ignore it and move on without and consequences pissed everyone off. The only thing that actually happened was that Ezra was going to therapy. That was it.
2. James Gunn’s DCU Announcement. NOT JAMES GUNN HIMSELF but the timeline he announced for DCU.
James Gunn announcing his projects before this one even came out prevented the paying public to even care about it coming out. Usual WB incompetence is behind the destruction of the DC brand
I think WW1984 may have soured the Audience BlackAdam and Shazam FOG failed after there wasn't interest by the time Flash came out.
That’s crazy in it’s 3rd weekend, Spider-Verse 2 went from 1, 2, 3 to all the way back to 1.
Aside from the Ezra stuff and the fact that everyone has lost faith in DC movies, I feel like another factor of why the Flash bombed so spectacularly is because there were advanced screenings left, right, and centre. I get that studios have advanced screenings to determine how the public is gonna react to the movie, but the amount of them that the Flash had was absolutely ridiculous. I know people who have seen the movie multiple times without paying a cent. Maybe instead of inviting influencers (honestly their just people who are a part of a ‘cool club’ that’s highly exclusive) and their mothers to see a movie multiple times, how about having your little premieres and then releasing it for the public.
There was about 8 people in my theater opening weekend. Writing was on the wall
My daughter just saw me watching this video and remarked that she saw it on opening night with her bf and they were two of ten people in the entire theater. Lmao
Not everyone knew about Ezra. My extended family and I all went to see it (from pre-teen to senior citizen). We all thought it was horrible. Comments from.."this doesn't look like a hero", "who is this SuperGirl?" etc.... They laughed at my wife and I because we have been Flash TV fans. We showed them the Season 1 Pilot and Episode 2 and now they all said that those two episodes were light years ahead of the movie and wondered why Grant wasn't the Flash or at least made a cameo in the movie.
The Flash movie was completed years ago but delayed. I do agree having cameos from actors from the TV Show would have made the Flash movie interesting.
@@amazingeric97 I doubt it because a lot of people didn't watch or liked the Flash tv series.
John “I love everything Dc makes regardless of how trash it is and how hard it flops” campea
John, the movie was not good. And you know it
That baby saving scene tho 😂😂😂
Should've recast Ezra or shipped this off to HBO Max.
They were going to lose money on this but by putting it in theaters the lost isn't as bad.
@@Dru2037 they might not even make their marketing spend back on this movie.
Just love the fact that back a couple of months ago when predictions were being made about which movie would come out on top in June between all the big movies and A lot of people including John had Spiderverse in 4th and Flash near the top. Now Spiderverse is hands down the biggest movie this June.
Not to mention, the new Transformers is bigger than The Flash.
I went and saw the movie again on the weekend this time with my kids and loved it more. Ive waited a long time for this movie and we'll probably see it one more time before it leaves theaters.
Have you guys noticed since Snyder has left DCEU no movie have gone pass 500 million atleast BvS and Man of Steel made some money
Since, Snyder left WB... All DCEU movies are non-profit except Aquaman which made $1.1 billion. The problem is not one reason... It's a mix of bunch of big reasons mainly caused by all WB execs in someway at different times including Zack Snyder..
i really miss synder's DCEU movies. they felt so different from marvel's signature movies
Bingo! Biggest mistake WB ever made was screwing with his films and firing him and then changing all the movies to be childish and marvel lite. They learned the wrong lessons.
@@aaronng6266 it’s like walking into a maths class to learn about geography that kind of stupidity WB has done at least they could have ended Zacks trilogy with the Snyder cut and no jl 2 or 3 and just ended the universe there
The character Flash in the DCEU is just not likeable for average movie goers, Ezra’s trouble is only adding oil to the fire
It was way too over hyped by channels like this one 😂😂😂. They must have been serving crack at those early screenings
Probably would have saved money just scraping the Flash. Miller was to big a gamble and now there paying for it.
Good movie but with the Ezra drama and it being apart of a dead universe it was doomed from the start
I remember when $300,000,000 was a success...
When your film almost cost $300,000,000 and your break-even point is $600,000,000
The bar’s been raised tremendously for big budget comic book films. Been that way for years. The Flash has an estimated production budget of $200 mil, plus another $65 mil for marketing. And they have to split the take from ticket sales with theatres. Bearing all that in mind, the movie’s been an objective box office failure so far.
If this was an indie film then yes it's a success. But it's not.
With the budget and advertisement they spent 400 million.
At this rate DC should cancel Aquaman 2
And lose even more money 🤦♂️ no lol
with Amber Heard? good luck on that movie haha
@@BaalBlade the difference with Amber and Ezra besides their Bs is that Amber isn't the star of the film.
I was still viewing the TV "Flash" final season on Netflix when this came out. I had every intention of viewing the movie in the theater ... until I found out that it was pretty close to the TV Flash's first season Flashpoint plot (with a reprise in the final episode); and then it was confirmed to me that Grant Gustin doesn't even cameo! (Ezra Miller cameoed on "The Flash" during the CW's "Crisis" crossover so it was expected that Gustin would cameo in this movie.) So ... What the heck?! I can wait for it to show up on Max someday. If these guys don't care about the fans then why should I care about this movie?
The wasted Cavill cameo and the bad and unwanted CGI cameos and not including A grant gustin cameo from the show and a plot full of plot holes and of course it’s star Ezra 😂
Projected to end it's run around 300-350m😮
For me, it's the fact that I already don't much enjoy DC movies lately, and they cast a criminal in the lead role.
WB screened this film for free to everyone that wanted to see it before release. $50 million dollars plus imo. I personally had 3 separate gofobo invitations. They intentionally torpedo’d the box office of this film so they could easily get rid of the Snyder/Miller baggage without much argument. This is understandable, it’s time to move on. They will do the same with Aquaman 2.
Yes, WB purposefully decided to torpedo an over $200 million dollar movie that the studio heads and the CEO of the company (Gunn and Zaxlav) publicly backed as one of the best comic films of all time just to get rid of the Snyderverse. A thing that they already publicly announced that they were going to do. That totally makes sense!
@@kaceynm the question is why did this film flop. It’s on par w any mcu film that made 2-3x. Explain the drop and explain why screen the film unlimited for weeks ahead of release. WB is saving face since they already were cherry picking what they did/didn’t want to keep from the DCEU. I’m not defending WB or the Flash just an observation.
I’d be really interested to see how all of the other WB day and date 2021 releases did on their second weekend drops
Man I really don't share your taste buds
The Speedster is breaking records here and there....Its gonna make $ 42 000 worldwide in its 3rd week....Lol
The problem is yes Ezra's shenanigans but the bigger picture he's not a big enough star. Alot people don't know who he is.
Brings a Huge smile to my Face..Miller is a Criminal no Hero, groomer, and chokes woman etc.
Wrong
I was at Wa Summer Con meeting Grant Gustin and let me tell you, he had huge lines all day and he had the most expensive photo op and autograph prices out of all the celebrities there. I think it’s that a lot of people just didn’t care for Ezra’s performance as Barry Allen/Flash in Justice League, especially if they were Arrowverse fans
I think Ezra was miscasted.
The people at WB have got to wonder if it would have been cheaper to take the right down by not releasing it
For me, Ezra was never the problem. If anything, they might be the best thing about the movie. But, the cgi was bad at times to say the least, the humor felt very cringe and Josstice League at times. Keaton was cool but he was never “my Batman” (Conroy was more my Batman if anything). The cameos did not do anything for me (minus maybe one) and I do feel like they were the definition of member berries that had no real meaning or reasoning to the plot. The final act imo undoes the “lesson” of the film and while I did give a pretty big chuckle because of Ezra’s line delivery in that final scene, ultimately the film ended on a whimper.
Aquaman 2 could also have a box office drop due it featuring the DCEU's Second Most Divisive Actor Amber Heard
It's more so a question of what is the point, when the reboot is coming? Why should people support the death of a persons vision? WB seriously screwed the pooch on multiple occasions. The last straw for me which was telling Cavill to announce his return, just to announce a week later that they are rebooting.
Didn’t expect elemental to pass the flash
@@j04370859 fr 😅
Blue Beetle looks terrible.
It's so funny seeing this film crash and burn after Warner Bros. tried to convince everybody that it's one of the greatest superhero films ever.
They even hired Tom Cruise and Steven King to do that..and it didn't work.
It literally is though. It's better than anything the entirety of the MCU has put out today.
My brothers and I actually went the afternoon before the official release, and there were lots of people. Interestingly enough, no one clapped at the end. 😂
They killed their own fan base by destroying the snyderverse, sharing waaaay to many spoilers and rebooting a universe and quitting the loyal fans! Lastly, I was able to see the flash at home in full high resolution. The movie experience is dead! This started with Bryan Singer oversharing Superman Returns and it's carried over to know make it hard to want to see a film.
It also cost say yo much to take a family of four or five to the movies to watch something you can watch at home for free
Don’t think spoilers are the things to blame here…spoilers, if ever intentionally leaked by studios will only be meant to hype the movie up, otherwise it’s somebody else’s fault that it leaked. Second, spoilers coming out is a very different thing from people filming it in theaters or leaking blue rays before it comes out. All movies leak if they have enough interest, No way home leaked in 4k images and immediately filmed upon release, heck John was a major source of the leaks, and that movie made nearly 2 billion, that not the issue.
@michaelm1221 if that were the case if actual screenshot of the crappy cgi had been released the box office results would have been worse
@@markcrowson what? Are you then implying that if a movie have subpar elements that it should be commended for not showing promotional materials so it will have better box office? And that dceu was “too honest” and lost out on hundreds of millions?
@@michaelm1221 no I'm saying that shooting your shot with trailers and influencer marketing had killed this movie and all of DC's other properties. There's a reason that Marvel doesn't share this struggle.
@@markcrowson ?every blockbuster films nowadays have a gazillion tv spots and trailers and international promos, and that includes marvel films. It’s simply not a significant factor that leads to box office bombing. Where have you heard people complaining they know too much from dc films and so would not be going to the theater? Do you think those huge successful movies rack up their billions of dollars from first viewings alone? If the movie’s good and people have faith in the universe then they’ll go back for multiple times even having seen the whole film.
I heard a radio DJ briefly talking about The Flash between songs and all they said was that the star (didn’t name him) was a groomer. No mention of Keaton or Affleck. That’s all non entertainment following regular folks need to know to skip the movie.
It’s crazy how so many different online movie pundits, critics, reviewers, etc all have different reasons for why the Flash didn’t do well.
Imo, there's 2 reasons, Ezra being a bad person and the DCEU being dead.
Having a criminal star as a childish superhero was awful. Ezra was ALWAYS miscast. “They’s” nonsense off screen, yelling at cops on video and strangling a woman, severely damaged film in Midwest and South. Sorry, mom and pop “Just said no” to Ezra. Other than big fans, who knows DCEU ending? Hollywood should take notice: mom and pop don’t want Ezras. You don’t have to be perfect. Cruise has issues, but it is without question Tom Cruise works hard and appeals to his fans. Hard work and gratitude make stars millions. I hope Jenna Ortega takes note. She could be the next big action actress if she appeals to fans. Don’t listen to political nonsense and IN PUBLIC, don’t make your life about the “tragedy of you.” Get therapy in your off time.
The Flash was great. I really enjoyed it.
I’m a huge fan of the late 80s Batman movies, so I was stoked to finally watch it yesterday. That being said, it was a fun movie, but DEF special effects were very mixed, and I thought it was unbalanced at times.
Gotta admit that if I didn't see "The Flash" in 4DX then it wouldn't have been as much fun watching it. However... both Michael Keaton AND Sasha Calle were certainly the highlights of this movie whenever they were on the big screen as Batman and Supergirl for sure!
I was confused as to why Aquaman of all flims made a billion dollars. Came out December 2018. It pretty much had no blockbuster competition. On top of being a good movie.
Aquaman made most of it's box office overseas. Domestic wise it was a below average haul for a superhero movie. I've been saying this for awhile: Jason Momoa is a legit international Superstar thanks to his turn in Game of Thrones. He sells the movie and gets butts into seats way better than Dwayne Johnson.
@@deltablueprint3186 a 300 million dollar gross is below average in which universe?
@nikunjdixit3225 Aquaman came out in 2018 at the height of the comic Superhero blockbuster fad. Infinity War, Batman V Superman, Wonderwoman, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, The Incredibles 2 did more at the box office. Aquaman barely made more than Suicide Squad and Ant Man and the Wasp.
@@deltablueprint3186 It made way more than both those movies.
I knew it was gonna be a flop but I did not expect it to go this bad, controversy aside I know people don’t like Ezra but I went in for Michael Keaton and Sasha Calle as Batman and Supergirl they were amazing in it
We, the viewing public, we were vocal about not planning to support Ezra Miller. They didn't listen and now they can chew on their losses. This film, no matter the cost should have been shelved instead of Batgirl. Batgirl would have done better. No controversy attached to it unlike The Flash.
U shouldn’t shelve a movie because of one person. Lots of people worked hard and shouldn’t suffer because of Ezra. Batgirl should have just been sent to streaming if it was as bad as they say.
No. Batgirl would not have done well
Dude , if another employee wherever you worked messed up, would you be okey with you and all of your other co-workers losing your jobs?
Ezra didn't make and star in a one man production of the flash yo
Just wait until Indy makes 42 mil only opening wknd
Companies think they can do anything and get away with it. That the consumer will buy up everything they sell. I am so happy that this film is underperforming. The fact that WB didn’t say a DAMN thing about their main star’s problem irl and thought we would just go and watch this film anyway and just give them our money. People made a statement about this film the only way they’ll understand. Money. Do better.
As I said when I went there was only 8 people in the biggest screen in my multplax most people have lost faith in the brand.
Normally what a movie has a small opening weekend one of the silver linings is a smaller that average second week drop. As someone that finds this stuff interesting. I can't wait until we get the behind the scene information about why this happened
I saw it twice on opening weekend in IMAX, both theaters were fully booked. Audience seemed to really enjoy it both times I went so I was surprised by the box office numbers. Unfortunate but I don’t get their money either way so nothing more to do than hope the rebooted DCU is better!
I am not a fan of this movie but it isn't wasn't horrible, it was bad though in my opinion but the biggest reason for this flop for me is that DC has lost the faith of the audience.
I saw it last weekend i enjoyed it solid 7 out of 10 i wouldnt be surprised if it gets a decent following once it hits max and its free cus it is a fun movie and really funny
Somewhere, Dwayne Johnson is smiling
People are waiting for the movies to go to streaming. Only a small few of movies are doing great. Companies may start holding off streaming for extended periods so people have to go to theaters
I think The Flash had two major problems: it was good, but not nearly good enough to pull the DCEU out of its death spiral, and people were more in tune with the Ezra Miller drama than I think anyone realized. I was surprised myself when multiple people I know sort of scoffed at me going and said “they’d never watch a movie with that freak”. I don’t think I could’ve supported Miller in the future, but I was of a mind that I wasn’t going to hold these filmmakers accountable for Ezra’s actions, since it was filmed before it all came to light.
On the high end I thought maybe $500m. I was so wrong. This is an epic failure.
No one is saying it but People don’t like the way the character of the flash was portrayed, he’s terrible comic relief and annoying, he was the worst part of the justice league movie and than you go make a movie around them. Casuals didn’t enjoy justice league or the flash as a character it’s that simple
@@edgerriceburroughs1477 yeah I mean who saw justice league and was like “I definitely wanna see more of the flash” lol and than all the stuff Ezra did on top of it and the bad word of mouth pretty obvious that it was gonna fail
Amazing film
Would it had been better not to release the Flash movie like how Batgirl was not released & stored in vault. I am surprised that Spiderman Across the Spiderverse is still doing well in the movie theatres.
Absolutely did not care for the movie, it was alright but I actually think BVS was better and that’s saying something
Highlight of the movie was Sasha Calle for me..
Blue Beetle reminds me of Ms Marvel.... sweet family stuff. But routine CGI stuff without a gripping concept.
I heard cinemas are selling two tickets for the price of one now.
True.
Also… if this doesn’t drive home that Ezra is done with the Flash… then I don’t know what will.
I’m curious to know if the film can make money back in physical media sales
Hell no. It’ll likely be on the MAX app before August 😬
As Nate Diaz would elegantly say, "I'm not surprised."
