Harry Gregg, a northern Irish man, ran back into the plaine when everyone screamed at him to run away. Rescued a woman and child who had travelled with the United group. It takes a huge amount of courage to do what he did. Let's not forget him. Also he was a brilliant goal keeper.
Such a wonderful, inspirational man who played such a big role in both the rescue after the crash, and in getting the young lads into line. I'm proud to have his autograph on a jersey. A true legend.
Leeds fan here, but I’ll drop my sword and show respect for the busby babes. These kids didn’t deserve to die, and they had their whole life’s ahead of them.
This track is called The Pride of Football Our Busby Babes and was written and performed by Pete Martin who sang all 30 vocals and his niece Emma Pryde played piano.
Seeing them fans then absolutely fantastic, Best in the world. We still have the best in the world idc what anyone says. Proud to be part off this family this club. How Harry Gregg hasnt Become Sir Harry Gregg is beyond me. Why haven't we changed the East Stand to the Sir Matt Busby stand?!! Watched the movie United for the 3rd time, brought so many tears to my eyes 😭❤ RIP Busby Babes take care off the Flamingo team young lads they were. Flowers off English flowers off Manchester ❤🇾🇪
When Liverpool boast about having more Champions League/Euro Cups than United, I always think, "How many would we have had if all the Babes had lived?" The sky was the limit for those boys.
My old man an Aston Villan fanatic as I am who never missed a Villa game in the 50s told me with glassy eyes that Duncan Edwards was the best player he ever saw (he saw Billy Wright Tom Finney Stanley Mathews etc in their pomp) History is difficult but from what I have heard , read , seen without the Munich disaster England would probably have won the World Cup in 58 certainly in 62 and Duncan Edwards would definitely have lifted the 66 cup and perhaps Bobby Moore wouldn’t have even been in the team? We’re it not for Munich Man U would have dominated the European cup instead of Real Madrid in my very humble opinion.

The man was a hero.

The most storied of English football clubs without a doubt
He was a courageous and dominant goal keeper as well, and was greatly respectedby the attackers as well.
When we use the word "club" for Manchester United, the spirit shown in this video is what I think of. This is the heart of United.
What a wonderful video The Babes will live on in our hearts and minds forever, they are and will always be Manchester United
Harry Gregg died today, 17th Feb, 2020, aged 87. May be rest in peace, God bless him.🌷🌈💙💙
❤
He was voted the best goalkeeper of the world cup 1958 in Sweden, just half a year after the accident.
Such a wonderful, inspirational man who played such a big role in both the rescue after the crash, and in getting the young lads into line. I'm proud to have his autograph on a jersey. A true legend.
What a fantastic video tribute to the never-to-be-forgotten-Busby-Babes. Thanx so much ! From a lifelong United fan who lives in Manchester. Cheers 🥂

Still unbelievable what happened. Catastrophic disaster. I wish they'd never been drawn against red star. Them young lads....bloody hell.
the reason Man United are still loved around the world... despite the best efforts of the Glazers
66 years and still talking about them. Says everything really doesn't it.

Bill Foulkes became United's centre half after Munich, Jackie Blanchflower and Mark Jones vied for the centre half position.
