For those who can clone the legendary but not the hold items. You may try another set up prior to what blain had share. Make sure to let your legendary hold the item first. Ride it and change it to battle form so that the game captures the data that the legendary is holding the item. Once done proceed to dupe as per shown in the video. Works for me. Good luck!

@@awardedspade1771 if u choose to put the item into your bag the legendary wont be holding items in the box. But if u choose to send both the legendary and the item, it should be in the box holding the item.

If gamefreak patches the dupe glitch before actually fixing this broken buggy mess of a game you know where gamefreaks priorities are really at
Take a look at SwSh. They improved SwSh performance before patching most duping methods in there. There are still some methods in SwSh. We already know where the pressure is for them to improve the games

I still love the games
they're never gonna patch the games lol. we discovered that the game lag mostly because the code of the game is a mess. basically,every time the game wants to spawn a pokemon it's gonna be randomly selected between ALL the pokemons in the game. now obviously only some can and will spawn but still,the fact that it goes through every single pokemon in the game is crazy. that requires a lot of power in the background,which will result in a lot of stutters from the game
(and no,they're definitely not patching the game code itself lmao)

I just finished doing this, opened UA-cam and this was the first recommended video lmao.
Also you can do it in the first area near your home with regular Pokeballs and you'll always get the catch.

The glitch is actually just the battle form overwriting the rider form. If you still have the duped koraidons from the original duping video you can skip catching and the A+B part.
Careful going online with that duped Pokémon. They said they’ll ban people who they discover to be using tampered with pokemon

It's doable. Just catch/train the right pokemon.
use breeding to breed perfect ivs and natures then just use the chansey xp glitch
I managed to solo 6 star raids before I managed to get a win with randoms online. Just need strategy based on the typing. Screech/Metal Sound with Mirai/Koraidon helps. Iron hands belly drum, Kingambit Swords dance 3x etc. That also lets you spam through 5 star raids easily enough which also helps you get to lv 100.

@@ChristianWorrell45 it's not a glitch. idk what he's talking about but I think he means the route next to fairy team star leader wherein if you eat a normal encounter bonus sandwich you can find many chanseys there, which give you abhorrent amounts of exp.

There's a glitch where if you picnic over an item on the ground you can get the item instead of eggs.

@@rgm2225 The sparkling areas on the ground, if you picnic over it, the eggs you would pick up is replaced with that item. I try to line up the egg basket with the sparkling area, but haven't tested if that matters. Do a save before you pick up the item and if you want to dupe it, just close the game and restart.

Hey Blaines great video, quick question. I got greedy and moved all the miraidon into my party to see what would happen, now I can't release or ride them so my party is constantly 1 normal miraidon and 5 glitched ones that won't leave so what do I do
Have you had a look at his item dupe video? There is a similar scenario at the end that might help you out
You just gotta do the glitch again to clear em' out of your party. To remove them permanently you gotta make sure you have no miraidon/koraidon in ride mode when you put them all in your party, then you go into ride mode after that just click on the ride mode legend at the bottom and itll delete the others 1 by 1

also please give an ability patch to a pokemon to hold, a special one like your starter, who isn't super useful but you're likely never releasing him, so that if you accidentally sell them all, you will always have one as backup.
I also just discovered that you can give your cloned miraidon/koraidon a new item after you put the original away and clone a new item

I did this method and I ended up with 6 Miraidon but after that my original Miraidon was swapped with a random lower level one, I went from a 95 Miraidon to a lvl 80
Me to with koraidon
I have a super wierd thing happening. So my Miradon was holding a magnet before, so I replace it with the item, and after the dupe, miradon is holding the magnet again... The capsule gets in the box, and the magnet is the duped item. Have restarted the game, have removed the magnet, have given item from bag and "poke-menu". Dont know what to do, I mean i works but its not that efficient to sell magnets
EDIT: Solved it now, for anyone else getting the same thing the way I think I solved it was by riding Miriadon one time after giving the new item, to "set" the ride versions item.

thats never been that way as far as I know. The ability patch isn't a breeding item
no, idk if they changed this but the best way to get the HA on the egg pokemon was having a female pokemon with the HA to breed with
My bad never used the ability patch before just noticed it's a usable item which voided my whole question lol.

I can tell you that you don’t need to finish the gym leader rematches or any post game quest to do this glitch. All u need is the legendary Pokémon to go battle form to do this dupe glitch
For the purpose of this video you do need to finish the post game. Ability patches only drop in 6 star raids which is what he covered in the video. Yes, you can dupe items before that. Ability patches sell for the most though.
I have yet to beat the game, I've got 6 badges and using mints and grinding for exp I'll keep this in mind
you should hurry, dupe glitches will get patched fast
@@byMystiic but rushing through a game ruins the experience for some people, especially those who'd rather take their time and actually enjoy the game. Sadly for me I know if I rushed through it like a lot of people tend to, I wouldn't pick the game back up for a while. That's only cause of the experience being ruined

Not sure if you are doing it already but you can defeat chanseys to get exp pretty quick and the resource they drop, happiny dust I believe can be exchange for good lp which is pretty much money.

Also, you can do the time skip at the auction house until golden bottle caps show up. Bid/buy it then dupe the hell out of it for unlimited max hyper trained pokemon, making the dupe glitch even more amazing
What is the time skip method for the auction house? Does it reset everyday then we just change the date and check?
@@KP-uz3nk yeah, the auction people have different inventory each day. just save at the auction place, exit the game, and change the date on your switch by one day.
You can also just buy 6 bottle caps for the same price as you’re selling one ability patch to essentially do the same thing, and you only really need 5 max ivs per Mon anyways ao ability patch is still probably better, clever idea though!

Hey, I get the timing and all correct, but somehow not the item I give my miraidon. I gave him an item earlier for fights I did with him and when I do the dupe stuff, it does copy that item and not the one I give him before duping. Is there any way to reset that? Restarting the game and such didn’t didn’t help yet

@@viperjg3869 i think i found the fix for it. saving and restarting game doesnt do anything, but giving the riding pokemon the item you want to dupe and go into ride mode again and back resets it. atleast it worked for me now that way

Yea this glitch 100% is still working, 11.19.22, it has not been patched. Most common issue seems to be timing consistency.

@@coranna give koraidon the item and then press plus to ride him and then put him back in fighting mode and then do the rest of the glitch and it will dupe and he will still have the item after and just repeat 😊

use 1 hand to press a and 1 hand to press b, put the controller down when your doing it, it works for me every time

There is a tall pillar down the path from the Ice gym. The top of which kind of looks like a bird head. It is located on the top of the beak portion
