To get rid of ur clones when finished, make sure u ride ur legendary with +, scroll down to the ride one in ur party and hit A
IF that doesnt do it for you, simply redo the A+B clone stage again and you can get rid of it.

@@fishlamp8443 do the catch A+B on the duped koraidon. It will force it to the box where u can release it.
CLARIFICATION: He says "hit L once" to enter the "Koraidon" box. This only works if you are in box 1. The "Koraidon" box is between boxes 32 and 1. You may have to push L or R multiple times to navigate to it if you aren't in box 1.

@@LorenzoGMP it only exists in the “Battle Teams” mode and not in your regular boxes
If you put the cloned raidon in your 2nd slot you reduce the amount of button presses to a minimum, both raidons will just swap with each other instead of going to the last slot in the party. This way the amount of presses per dupe is a fair bit lower and thus faster.
EDIT: If you really, really want to minimize time you should have 2 mons in your party so that you only need to press up and right to get into your boxes after you selected the "return to ride form" button.

If you want to do this glitch now, the only way possible is to buy a new physical copy and not update. As of update 1.2 it seems both parts of these glitches no longer work.

@Anonymous_Dab it's mainly for ability patches, special pokeballs and ev items. You can find twitch raids that give like 10 herbas. You can't dupe herba mystica.

you can also change the item you want to clone very easily without having to start over, just change the item held by the Koraidon/Miraidon in your team
Soon as you dupped Karaidon once, you'll never need to worry about hitting + , exiting the menu, riding around or having to catch glitch to start the dupe. You can get back to dupping in seconds, just make sure you switch to ride with whatever item. Also, if you want to start dupping a new item, just change held item in the party menu, switch to ride and then be amazed to dupe without delay.

Not true. I don't have to do anything. Just to clarify. I can remove the item the clone Miraidon has and place a new item on him to clone. Aka Missingno for some ppl. Not everyone knows who Missingno is. Back From Gen 1.
Just place new item on the clone Ride Pokemon and rinse repeat the method of placing him in ride mode. Boxes. X twice for white boxes. Then L if you did box 1. Press once. Then place item in box.
For example I was doing Big nugget first. Then by accident instead of going to place in ride form. I by accident place item in bag. Cuz button pressing fast. Then smart head. Decided to place another different item. Aka Master Ball. Yes it works. He's already cloned. You don't need to do anything else.

This is a lifesaver!! Also if anyone wants to change to a different item when duplicating:
-Go to your cloned Koriadon/Miradon in party and take back held item
-Give them a new item
-Put them in ride form then go to the box
-Hit X twice then L, then take the held item and close box
-Rinse and repeat

Everyone: When you’re in your box, you need to click X twice first just like in the video, then click L. Then you’ll be brought to the special box!
@@SatoRowlet1717 miraidons box is technically the last one, so you have to be on box 1, then when you press L the game goes to the last box, aka miraidon's

It makes sense because returning to ride form saves what item it is holding. That is why it is a crucial step in the glitch.
PSA: The A + B button pressing has been Patched! You can still dupe IF you still have your cloned Legendary. So the A + B portion of the dupe method does not work anymore.

Same here now it's bloodly patched hope they find a new way for players who didn't get a cloned legendary to do the glitches.
Explains cause I been trying it and I can't
Only way I was able to do it was use another switch with another account, put cartridge in BUT I disconnected internet completely from the switch before I inserted the cartridge. Now it’s always going to run on version 1.0 when I play. Works fine as long as your save file doesn’t have anything to do with v1.1
Anyways hope this helps.
Honestly if you only have one switch, I highly recommend just deleting your save file and all update data all together and start over. This glitch is well worth the trouble of playing the game all over again. Plus v1.0 has all the available glitches so you can cheese your way through the entire game in about a day or two using the OP golduck pit method.

Edit: you can change items at any time. No need to reset the whole thing
In regards to getting rid of the spare Koridon. You can clone multiple items in one session by giving Koridon different items and continuing to do the dupe process. However when your done you can’t get rid of the cloned Koridon unless it is holding the same item that the original Koridon started with. Hope this helps anyone who thinks they have a clone stuck, or makes it to where you don’t have to do the whole process again to get Koridon back in the box.

Another method to remove the clone Koraidon from your party if it's being stubborn is to simply do the A+B catch again.
i tried it and still won't go into box.-.
@@boohshakalaka6395 remove all Pokémon in your party besides one and obviously the miraidon. Go into ride form. Then press x to go into party. Go down to the miraidon on the bottom and press a while you’re already riding him. It should delete it. I’d check your boxes and stuff after to make sure nothing got deleted or moved before you save

Minor optimization, but if you put the cloned Koraidon/Miraidon in slot 2, then you won't have to scroll up/down after you finish the boxes step.
... Best optimization would be turning all this into a bot/macro script. Just wrote my own script and it's on 24/7.

@@PhillyFinesse I'm using Cronus Zen (a middle man device)- it's a great investment IMO. It allows any controller to be used on any console. (I.e. PS5 controller on the switch) and of course the ability to use scripts / mods
This also seems super useful for duping XL Exp candies to train up pokemon for raids
If you already have a duped Miraidon or that in your boxes you can take them out, give them the held item and do this from the part where you turn them back into ride form. Worked for me

This is the most pleasant Duping glitch I have experienced in Pokemon. After the initial setup it's just a few quick button presses and the cloned items just start pouring in. I love it.
As a programmer I can explain what is mostly happening here. While im not sure what da f is going on with the capture send to box dupe, I can assume the ONLY check to make sure Mi/Ka-raidon's do not go to box is that menu, because you deny the menu fast enough, the system assumes you declined your decision, but the processing power isnt good enough and sends you to the next frame anyways bypassing the denial.
The box glitch in this video, sending Mi/Ka-raidon to ride form would override the previous instance of "Mi/Ka-raidon" from the index array into "ride array". Rather than checking and updating all instance's of the Pokemon within the account data, its only pushing the data one way with no other validation.
When doing glitch's of this nature its basically abusing the codes processing order to brute force override the otherwise validation checks.
You could assume that this may also be utilized* to teach Pokemon moves they otherwise cannot learn.
EDIT: incorrect word
If you somehow have Miraidon/Koraidon still stuck in your party even when you go to ride form with this duping, register your Miraidon/Koraidon to a Battle Team (same menu as picking up the held item to dupe it), then exit out, that should fix it for you.

Great guide, don’t usually use to many exploits but these ability patches have been a pain to get through raids so I’ll be doing this. Thank you.
Once you've started doing this, you can change out whatever the held item on the Koraidon/Miraidon in your party is holding and it will dupe the newly held item. So no need to go through the setup again if you want to duplicate more then one thing.

To get rid of the koraidon/miraidon in your party if its stuck there do the original glitch again and send him to the box then you can release him.

You can also switch items that the party Miraidon or Koraidon is holding, then convert to ride form, AND THEN do the method and it’ll ask to take the new item.
For those having issues with the A+B thing, I just straight up couldn't do it with my Hori Pro Joycons. I think there's too much travel on the buttons. First time when I switched to regular joycons.

Holy shit, with this new strategy the duping is finally less annoying! The timing for the button presses on the other method was sometimes super scuffed! Thank you for this!
What this shows us is that the box where we go to with the battle team section of our boxes is where Miraidon/Koraidon is kept while he is in ride form. So when you send the glitch battle form legendary with the item back into that box he overwrites the data of the legendary sitting there so we can go get the item from him and then go overwrite it again.

As of the new update that came out today, putting the clone back into ride form no longer dupes the item to the ride form legendary in the box
This is great because once you have it set up, you can switch the held item as you so chose without interrupting the duplication
PSA, you can get a Big Nugget, worth 20,000, for a few conversations with Director Clavel after beating the main story. I’ve been using that to buy anything I want, like vitamins, bottle caps, etc.
Now I just hope at some point we can figure out how to clone herbs since they can't be held or anything. The drop rate for them is just awful... Thanks for sharing.

The sandwich minigame uses UI, so I wonder if you can glitch the amount of herbs back and forth though it is just visually, it does not move any ingredients back and forth.
But what if you consume negative number of items in sandwich maker? Hence it increase the value on the ingredients instead of deducting it.

Discovered this about a week ago when I caught a pokémon and wanted my koraidon to go back into the ride form so my new pokemon was in the party, but my hand slipped on my pro controller and i had bypassed the screen “you can’t send koraidon to your boxes”. Been duping since, i have over 10 million pokedollars and TONS of ability patches to sell in case this method is patched (it will)
This one worked like a charm. I just tried and now I have 20 ability patches. I'm a little bit lazy about this kind of repetitive process, so I stoped very quick, but it works.

yea this button timing for the A+B is a bit tricky, but it seems doable after some practice
Before, when they fixed this, it was actually just fixing the glitched koraidon, but it seems they've now just fixed the duping entirely, and it now only does a visual glitch.
This was not mentioned on the video @blaines but you can change items in between to continue duplicating. For example, after selecting to get the pokemon to be ride again, you exchange the item for the one you want to continue duplicating. Also being on this step you can save and you can continue after starting the gane later on. Time saver definitely.

Cool part about this after testing, you can change whatever held item you want during the process without having to restart everything all over again. Just simply replace whatever item you desire. Super easy.

I've been duping XL candies to get my raid pokemon to level 100, as well as items to sell for money (haven't gotten an ability patch from any raids so far) to spend on bottle caps and stat boosters. It's been a process to say the least, and I have so much more to go - this'll save SOOOO much time

To everyone who has updated you can get rid of All the clones, just ride your legendary and press a on every clone that is in your party. You maybe have to switch one time the places with the riding one a random one in your party :)

@@michaellan2683if you still have yours in your party have an open slot in your party and register the cloned one in the battle team box to a team. After that remove it from being registered and that should clear the duped one from your party. Just got rid of mine after trying all the old ways

This can also be done with an already duped ride pokemon already in your boxes just switching them no need to start off with the "old" dupe

Ah man, I should have seen this earlier. I didn't even know that existed. I just sat through 3 days straight duping Ability Patches (almost maxxed them now) without updating. This is gonna help me so much more fill up a lot of other stuff without the mindnumbing boredom of committing maxx exodus on all the Buizel and Wingulls on the beach... I mean I already did by now. ;)

1:06 You can still dupe if you open the menu while riding Koraidon. Only need to + once, not twice.
Also you do not need to have an empty spot in Box 1. You can start from any box. After hitting X twice, just hit L until you get to the Koraidon box. L is just box navigation going Left.
Also to note that if you want to change which item you are cloning, before you change your cloned Koraidon to ride form, you can swap which item it's holding, change to ride form, go into boxes and it'll be holding the new cloned item you swapped. Don't need to repeat whole process over for a new item.
You can also change items midd glitch, just change the held item, change to ride form, then continue
Once you have the dupe setup, store 4 pokemon in ur party so the only ones you have is a random in slot 1 and Kor/Miraidon in slot 2, it will make it alot faster to dupe cuz less inputs.
Quick tip:
You don't need to dismount
Just send ur legendary to battle mode while ur mounted
Saves a couple seconds lol
Every day I come on here hoping someone finds a way to dupe the ingredients. Being able to infinitely solo hunt shinies with only 1-2 herba mystica would be amazing.

Glitch is no longer possible. Koraidon/Miraidon cannot be put inside a box, anymore.

I noticed that once you do this you can swap the item out and then return to ride mode to begin duplicating the new item. Basically you can dup one item without ever catching a Pokemon.
BIG UPDATE: you can switch the held item and dupe it once you are in the ride item ride item loop.
After a dupe, leaving the box koraidon with no item, i removed the item from my party koraidon. Then i attached a different item and put it in ride form. the box koraidon then had the new item and i was able to generate a couple of the new item going back through the ride item loop
Finally a way to get 50 Tera shards in literally 10 mins
How do you get rid of the glitched Koraidon that is in BATTLE TEAMS? Not in my party or boxes, specifically battle teams, the only option is to register it and not to get rid of it…

are you doing is in versions that the charizard 7 star raid happened or after cuz it doesnt work in those versions
you dont need to get rid of the clone. you can forever keep it in your 6th slot or your box and use it as a quick item clone whenever you need. you can switch the item its holding too
Yeah but you might get banned from online use once Nintendo has a dupe Pokémon detector in the game

This is the best one so far, and the best thing is you can just give your miraidon/koraidon any item you want to dupe and repeat the process in the box rather need too repeat it from catching pokemon

After the recent patch that just came out, I tried to do this for a solid hour, and it would not work no matter how many times I tried, it works for players who did it before the patch if they keep the set up, but not for anyone who finds this videos after the patch, very unfortunate

Edit: if by somehow u have a duplicated ride miraidon or koraidon after the patch. U can still do the glitch. Tho idk how u r gonna remove that duplicated ride koraidon/miraidon

Disable auto updates and you will have no reason to rush and all the time in the world to do the glitch. It just means you can't play online when the new patch drops.... unless the new patch doesn't fix it then you are also chilling.
@@zainkhan69420 I forgot you could do that. I thought it disables online unless it’s on. Only problem is getting an ability patch by myself to dupe if an update comes
@@AJtheDestroyer Ability patch is a 1% drop from 6 star raids. Took me 15 hours of straight grinding to get mine solo.

Playing around I looks like at any point during the new bit with the clone. You can change the items you want to clone as well right before you switch to ride form and grab the next item from the box.
I can’t get it to clone, something isn’t working and the Pokémon just goes straight to the box instead of cloning the ride Pokémon
