Hi HD, yes you need to wipe down entire surface with Acetone to remove grease and residue before Priming and Painting....The time you take to prep the surface is critical in a successful looking Paint Job!...Thanks for your comment and hopefully this will help on your project...Please Subscribe and Like for additional educational video's..

Thanks for the comment actually I rubbed some clear grease on ram so paint would not stick...then can just wipe off
