Just got my cs racing exhaust 2 days ago, installed it yesterday. I wanted to thank you for the oil trick you used for those replacement gaskets. Tbh, getting the old gaskets out and new ones in was one of the most challenging parts of this install for me. Also I just happened to have about a half of a quart of unused oil hanging around so it was very convenient!
Thanks for posting this. I'm gonna post a review as soon as my ecu comes back in the mail from my tuner. I did block off plates and a quick shifter as well.
Hey man, Streetbiketimmy here. Just stumbled across this video randomly and wanted to say thanks for the shout out! Haven't been on the forum in quite some time but I still love this exhaust. Let me know if you've found a decent map/tune. I think I might be ready to start spending more money on the Z.
Clint Johnston too funny. That’s awesome. I haven’t ridden at all lately. Going to dust off the gear this weekend and go for a hour long ride. I’m sure I’ll get the bug again.
So how much did the whole exhaust kit cost you around $700? I want to do the same thing to my bike I love the way it sounds with this shorty exhaust. Best thing about it if you don't even need a tune for this particular one
You know what man you're not the first one to say that about the nuts holding the headers to the bike. This is the third time I've heard that and I'm going to look at my Z900 and see if mine are loose also...
do you know if its the same as a 2021 z900? first NEW bike. kinda want to wait out the 1 year warranty before doing it. Cause if i put it on im not taking it off to put the stock one back on lol
Also... that "one mother fucker of a bolt" near the brake lever is easily accessible by removing the two bolts attaching the brake lever assembly i just loosened those suckers up and moved it to the side, then reattached the two bolts after the install. No need for fancy tools!
Yes it’s been great. I have several bikes and cars so none of them get a lot of play. So I wouldn’t be able to tell you anything about long term use and longevity in that sense. But it hasn’t shown any sign of trouble and still sounds amazing.
@@AverageCarGuy I bought 4 new ones but when I took off the old ones, the flat side was toward the header. Just curious about the orientation of the new ones because in your video you placed the flat side towards the engine. Any thoughts?
Thank you and congrats on the new bike. You’re gonna love it. Their website kinda sucks. Most of the communication is by email. Here’s the link www.csescapamentos.com/loja/br/kawasaki/52-z750.html
Hycinex yep. I’m on California. I seem to recall it costing me around $650 or so shipped. It all depends on the exchange rate too. Sorry I don’t recall the exact amount. Might have been a bit more.
Hmm, I actually wanted a power commander, but the dealer here told me specifically it barely has any effect on the z900? also what did you do to the box of the quickshifter? :O
Just wanted to ask that after installing full system are u facing any issues or does it harm engine and do u have to remap the ECU and also put power commander
I have a 2019 z900 but when I go to their page it is only for the z1000. could you give me a hand and post the link where you actually clicked to buy. I want to make sure it fits, I dont want to spend money on something that might not fit. thanks, it sounds amazing
Yordan Medina you can’t do a check out on their site. It’s all done by email. Just contact them and they’ll set it up. They’re legit though, I know a few others who have purchased exactly the same way from them. Shame they don’t fix the site.
@@AverageCarGuy awesome, I just finished sending them an email. Does everything fit the way its supposed to ? do I need to buy anything else? How much was the total price shipped and all if you dont mind me asking. Any other name brand exhasut is twice if not 3 times the price of this one. Thank a lot
Yordan Medina it really depends on the exchange rate at the time you pay. I lucked out with a super low exchange rate. I think including shipping it was around $650 or so. It’s all fits great. Real good quality IMO. And the minimalist look is priceless. Good luck and let me know if you need help figuring out anything.
@@AverageCarGuy just ordered the exhaust the day we talked and it turned out to be 713 shipped and all. Still think is a better price than the famous brand stuff. Also, better sounding too.
Nathan Garner I go back and forth between the stock and ergo seat. Both are Kawasaki seats. The “ergo” seat is just a little taller. I use the ergo for long rides and the stock for canyons.
Sooo.. I got mine in and installed it yesterday!! HOLY CRAP I LOVE THIS SYSTEM!!!! Talk about sexy haha. Did you tune yours? I haven't yet but oof the price of a pcm n tune top of it all q.q lol
As a better way to measure weight next time you just stand on the scale get your base weight. Then hold one check weight hold other. Subtract your base weight and there you go.
Rahshawn Gilmore sorry I’m using mine. It’s actually really hard to ride without it for more than an hour. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? I’m sure they’d sell you the part ...

Got same pipe... best looking pipe out for z900
Karl Krehan Me too. But mine did not come with the springs or welded on brackets. Did yours?

What tools did you use in the installation? Thanks
Do you think different kind of headers will fit with the exhaust itself?
Bob Moua no I don’t. Fitment is pretty exact down there.
Would you know where to find a db killer (baffle) for that exhaust system ?
It came with it. I would reach out to the company. I’m sure they can send you one.
Thanks for the video
Its wired I change on my honda cb650f with same exhaust brand and the bolt on the stock exhaust some weren't tight at all........

When I took the stock header off, the oring had flat side toward the header… any issues within leakage the way you installed yours?
I used new copper O-Rings so I haven’t had issues. But as I mention in the video, I highly recommend replacing them with each install.

I found it, sorry haha. Great video!
Just wanted to ask that after installing full system are u facing any issues or does it harm engine and do u have to remap the ECU and also put power commander
abhi bhat no issues really but you will want to get a new map for sure. I installed a PCV (my other video) and that took care of it pretty well.
Great Video, thank you. What brand is the exhaust system? Where did you get it?
George Beckhart : CS escapmentos, Brazil
What website did you use to buy that exhaust

How does the DB killer sound like?
Pritam Ghosh I really like the sound of it. I’ll try and post a with/without video this month.
