Yay for empties! I love the Lush Lemon Flutter cuticle cream. It smells amazing and it really does help with the cuticles. Keep these videos coming girl!

Your cute disclaimer at the beginning was adorable! And thanks so much again for mentioning the Clinique Cleansing Balm - it is definitely next on my list! Have you tried the cuticle cream from Lush? Lemon Flutter I believe...Thanks so much for sharing Julie!

I have't tried Lemon Flutter! But I've been "researching" Lush quite a bit lately. Do you think it's exceptional for cuticles?

I really love it! And actually the lady at the salon who does my nails was the one who recommended it to me. I also really love how well it works on things like dry and cracked heels!

notyourtypicaldollface Awesome, thank you! I might just have to go pick it up (and MAYBE buy some perfume while I'm there!).

I love the Blue Cross Cuticle Remover (Sally's). Great for softening up the cuticle during a manicure. I've found that the best cuticle cream are those containing AHA. You might want to check out Poshe AHA Cuticle Care, CND aha Cuticle Eraser or Sephora's Formula X Erase. After applying my AHA cream I always follow up with my Dior Creme Abricot.
Have you tried the O'Keeffe's Healthy Foot Cream? That stuff has work wonders on my heels.
    Love the curly hair.

I have a very oily noise with redness broken capillaries. I have tried countless concealers and methods, including praying, for something that would conceal my redness for more than an hour. So far, the two best I have found that stand up to the oil are Dermablend Cover Creme and OCC/Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Skin Conceal. The OCC yellow tone colors run dark, can't speak to the others. Sephora only carries on line so can't swatch in person. Good luck! Cheers, Lulu

"Including praying" made me laugh out loud. :-) Thanks for the suggestions, Lulu! Dermablend is a brand I need to look into, and I never even thought of OCC. Will check them out online.

I had no idea that em mascara had fibers in them...explains so much! thanks for the mini reviews, you are always so informative! xoxo Jenn

Ha! I'm glad it helped. :-) If they would explain the deal with the fibers or give tips on how to use it, we might have fared much better!

For your feet, have you tried Amlactin? For your cuticles, have you tried Burt's Bees (not amazing but, ok) or Egyptian Magic Cream? Loved the warning at the beginning :-) Good empties Julie. ♥ Elle

Thanks, Elle! :-) I'll buy Amlactin next time, definitely! I have tried Burt's Bees cuticle (same story), but never Egyptian Magic. That stuff is definitely on my radar. Maybe when I need some serious moisture for the cold weather.

I will have to see if my Macy's has the cleanser. I have not tried it. The Olay body lotion gives you a Twilight vampire sparkle..cool!! I'm finding I like the Million Lashes better, but it does have the spiky wand. I use the argon oil on my cuticles. I find it better than any of the balms I have tried. Thanks, Diana xo

I put argan on my cuticles sometimes! Still, no miracle. I had high hopes for Million Lashes, but that didn't cut it either. Maybe I need to be less "particular!"

There just has to be the perfect mascara, or close to perfect mascara out there for you. Going to have to make a list of all the one's you have tried, so we can hunt up some new ones for you :)

Julie, that Olay is my ' go to" lotion to look glowy for the last 2 years. I use under foundation on face and on body for a subtle sheen. Niacinamide is high up on list and it is such a bargain.

    • @JuliesBeautyDish
      @JuliesBeautyDish  10 років тому

Yes, there is so much niacinamide in there! I've hesitated to put it on my face, but I'll try it. Thank you!

Great empties Julie! I really will be checking out that Clinique cleansing balm. I am currently using the Body Shop's Chamomile cleansing balm and love it. Have you tried it?

I've never tried Body Shop's. For some reason, I never shop there even though I know they make a ton of good stuff. They're even in Ulta. Thanks for the tip, Cyndi!

I have that Clinique balm. I may be the only that thinks it's ok. It is gentle no fragrance but so oily especially around my eyes. I have oily skin already. I'll prob like it in the winter months when I have dry skin. But I have been enjoying my One Love Organics by Elizabeth Dehn cleansing oil. Love it! Haven't used it with waterproof but with regular mascara it works well. Love this brand so far.

I'm not familiar with that brand; I do love cleansing oils. Thanks for the idea!

Dior Creme Abricot Fortifying cream for nails....does wonders for the cuticles. Super goopy, sticky needs a wee bit of patience ...sit still and let it work :- )

Thank you so much for all the suggestions! I haven't tried any of those, but I definitely will. I have used O'Keefe's for hands, but not the foot one. I will pick it up when I see it. Thanks again! And thanks for the hair compliment. :-)
