    John Lennon gave McCartney credit on "Give Peace A Chance" because Paul helped him with the recording of "The Ballad of John & Yoko". John presented "Cold Turkey" to the other three Beatles as a possible Beatles' single but the others weren't interested. I had heard that John Lennon wrote "Mind Games" around 1969/70 but I cannot confirm this.
