It's a bit of a leap for the left! And also, I did left second as it was better first last time... Not sure why the left is doing better by a good margin, the right arm is bigger and stronger.... I had an idea I need to remember to try next time, I think if I use each finger alternating in turn, pressure release, to give the ring an extra squeeze, like playing a piano, it could possibly help .... Speculation. most of the hang the ring is nicely rooted, then I do the last 1/3 or so it's hanging off the fingers more
Big congrats on the hang, that's phenomenal! I was messing around the other day with one arm ring hangs and let's just say, I've got my work ahead of me. Excellent session.
I think a lot of it is in the mind, just making the hand stay closed, it's a losing battle that has to be drawn out as long as possible. It helps I think to train them doing short alternating hangs rather than lots of single best efforts, even if you're swapping hands frequently
@Alien_Frog_king I wanted to mess with this today but spaced it. I think if I try on a push day it will be better as my grip won't be as fatigued. So basically, we'll see if I remember tomorrow.
@@PaulfromOregonno pressure, some days will be better than others, sometimes without a cause. I did the hangs again today , 63s right, 62s left, so down 14s on left, which is a lot

That is indeed how I got the nickname, dropping jumps into routines! 😅 I've gained like 15s on the left in a week, a lot of that must be mind state, willing the fingers to stay closed! You'll struggle a bit with your immense muscle mass! But I think you'll get 60s anyway, those doorway pulls and ring pushups are forearm goldust, but maybe not endurance.... Either way, on a lighter pull day it doesn't hurt to add two single one arm hangs into your routine if only as a side chain stretch 👌thanks Florian

Very fun session. I had to warm up for about twenty mins first, really cold to begin with, like my core was cold!
@@Alien_Frog_king yes people dont see all the time we use for warm up...when i do bench i do alot of sets before i reach my working sets weighgt.

Thanks Ed! I agree, was a good session despite the cold, I'd warmed up well, and I looked and felt more explosive than some previous sessions
