The dub for Yu Yu Hakusho is good. Many of the new anime series though are dubbed badly.

This dub is still good, and for the time it was made it's astounding quality. 90% of the time I'm on team sub but there no damn point in going sub if they didn't fuck up the dub, and on this one they did great.

ah man rewatching this makes me truly realize how amazing Togashi is at getting you to invoke emotion from his works. Dude has such a rich understanding of psychology. I feel like yuyu hakusho is a series everyone should watch as a teenager, cause it helps you conceptualize so much and wouldn't be surprise if that was the core focus of what Togashi wanted given his own childhood.

You guys should check out Flame of Recca. It's a anime from the 90's that's kind of similar to Yu Yu Hakusho as far as the setting and action. It's about a boy who wants to become a ninja set in modern times.

I remember recca did the anime ever finish of did it just stop I read the manga but I don't think the anime went as far didn't it stop at the tournament arc (everyone was doing tournament arcs back then)

So the thing about this dub even the OP and ED were dubbed however I swear the instrumentals are different the Japanese one sounds more synth to me and I don't quite like it as much
