yeah. look at the vibe of this video vs the rivian. While the hummer is cool, this video was a forced sales pitch. The Rivian experience just let the truck prove itself.

It's probably further from release than Rivian, and as a car reviewer, it's important you don't say anything too bad in these situations so you can maintain good relations to get access to do these videos in the first place.

@@monkeysezbegood ik it's different for people I like the Rivian's interior, the Hummer is a bit more analog style than Rivian's interior which has a lot of inspiration taken from Tesla.

already changing* but yeah! It's already pretty crazy. I'm kinda scared for the power grid though with all these cars charging. These cars (depending on what charger you use) can use an enormous amount of power - I've seen up to 350 kW for Electrify America (note that this is a level 3 charger which aren't found in residential locations, but more on the road for the road trips for that fast charging), but the level 2 charger will be and are common in residential and business locations.

@@shadowstorm_2496 I guess it depends on the sports car your comparing it to. The hummer is somehow faster to 60mph then my favorite modern car the Shelby mustang gt500 super snake 😂. But I’m assuming the mustang has a way better 1/4 mile time because it isn’t a MASSIVELY HEAVY truck and GM has been reluctant to release its 1/4 mile time. And luckily there are plenty of Lamborghinis, Porsches and other super cars that still are faster then the hummer 😂😂😂.
I think this will be first electric truck owned by Jack🔥😅

I agree it’s really good that it’s great that more trucks are coming. However; a shuffle is a shuffle and the cybertruck is way better in every way that matters. Price, performance, range, ++.. it’s important to tell the truth so buyers make the best decisions and the competitive gets stronger and better of the next years.
A couple months ago I went to visit my grandparents in Detroit and my dad saw 2 Hummer Ev’s at a charging station! I’m still bummed that I wasn’t with him when he saw them there.
Honestly, I don’t know how much better this truck would be off-road compared to the Rivian. The ravine seems to do pretty well, and this truck is massive which could limit its off-road capabilities.

That was from the digital zoom from the gopro during video editing. The 2019+ Cadillac screens are insanely clear like 4k resolution. I bet this is just like it.
