So far, this is the best of the bunch. The only thing stopping me from buying is the lack of CarPlay. I won't buy a vehicle without it.
They said it has support for Carplay, Android Auto and it has built in Google.
Has CarPlay now you have to buy it
LOL...Unfortunately for them, it's already too late. I purchased a Platinum Lightning about a month ago. The price was just too good, $50k Canadian less than the 130kCAN the dealer was telling me the Denali MSRP will be. He then said they will probably even be marking them up initially and it will be very difficult to get. This guy was great at sales...not... He basically was trying to convince me not to get one and to buy something they have on the lot.
The Lightning was ready to go now, and it has CarPlay :) and so far I am absolutely loving it. Plus I had a very bad service experience with my Cadillac where I swore off GM. The Denali intrigued me enough to consider it, so they get points for that. I also hope it's true and that GM is reversing that horrid and needless decision to remove CarPlay. I just checked the website again and googled it and all I get for results is how GM will not be including CarPlay in any of their EV's. Does anyone know where I can find where it states that that they are now including CarPlay?
@darpompie4354 dealerships are definitely the weak part of GM brand. Every interaction I have just proves how they are not interested in selling anything and don't know even basic info on GM cars. PNW

Like all GMC trucks, like for like they will have equivalent prices to Chevrolet. More features and nicer materials means a small bump in price.
I would buy it but it has onstar. They sell your data to insurance companies which increases your premiums.

It's kinda ironic that a car with Denali branding can't be driven to Alaska from Washington state due to lack of EV charging infrastructure. I love the range but the price is in a very competative category.

400 miles range isn't bad actually
@tameralibanimustafa4537 towing will reduce range to half, not good for my needs. I'm entitled to my opinion.

Too expensive for EV credit. At these prices I'll spend money on gas and avoid long charging times. (Coming from a Tesla owner)

That is quite honestly the 2nd ugliest truck I have ever seen, first being the cyber truck. It looks like a bigger Honda ridgeline......if that even counts as a truck. I love how they keep talking about 400+ mile range, but what is the true range when towing 9,000lbs? The current GMC line up are so beautiful, especially a lifted AT4. Say goodbye to off-road fun and using a truck for all the things a truck is good for, but hey at least you can still put a kayak in the back if nobody is sitting in the backseats.

As a new product development, quality compliance, evaluation and improvement engineer living in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, would be awesome to obtain one for long term evaluation while publishing videos of the incredible journey on UA-cam.
The only truck I’d consider giving my Hummer EV up to own…Thrilled to see the midgate, just like my old Avalanche.
