Very sharp, on my top priority list for next year. Only thing I don't like is manually convertible, prefer paronama sunroof instead

From my experience, test drive. It is definitely a fine SUV. Road travel has wind and plastic connection noises. All in all a sweet car.
And btw them sale it 158.000 average.

I wish the owner can install a solar system so that the owner does not have to re charge the battery
may be if you only plan to take it out for an hour a week and you live in a very sunny place.

Instead of charging station we need service stations with battery exchanges and standardize Batteries per vehicle type ie: truck, Suv, Sedan etc. Should be able to pull into a unmanned station and have batteries selected and changed by machines and computers
SHOULD BE 4 STANDARD SIZES AND 4 UPGRADES TO THOSE STANDARD SIZES. should be able to access & remove with minimal work.
Unfortunately this is not china! China Nio vehicles, they swap out batteries which can be time consuming. Also, swapping battery locations will be scarce unless charging stations
That's all well and good, but how well would it perform on MARS?! 😉

I really want this new HUMMER but I am an Australian and live in Australia.
So the it seems incredibly unlikely that this HUMMER EV will even get to our shores. For starters GMC doesn't exist in Australia and also Australia is RHD. GM Giving the axe to our Holden doesn't really give much hope. Which is sad Because the Hummer brand was beloved down here, I still see HUMMER H2's and the occasional H1 on the road! So to not have the HUMMER EV come to Australia is not only Sad but just torture!
The Hummer H1 could take a ton of punishment from the Aussie terrain. The H2 was also great off the road, without the one downsides of the H1, Having to be extremely careful not to get outside your lane as the H1 was only 5cm from being too wide to be road legal, Without special permits of course (5cm more in width and it would have been legally classified as a WCV (Wide Commercial Vehicle) basically a Truck (An actual truck, Think Semi or Lorry) that is too wide to be driven without the required licenses and/or escort. (Think, Semi with a Very wide Load, such as a House, Or Extremely large tires (such as those on Monster trucks or the even larger, Mining Trucks)). Because of this you had to be very careful not to cross out of your lane as you had a tiny amount of clearance.
My Hummer EV3 will come soon, going to be pulling an Opus OP15 overland camper behind it and see if I can get it stuck 👌

what do you need to know? that it is extremely expensive, and it takes 4 days to fully charge. good luck with that. i could build a really nice house for what they pay for that.

These are having serious software issues at the moment, making them completely undriveable, just wanted to give you a heads up. Just search on youtube for Hummer EV won't function.

Maybe I missed it, but there is no mention of any of the variants battery capacity. Based on the data provided this far, and true to the Hummer reputation, it appears that this thing is going to be a HUGE energy hog. Doing the math, it appears that this vehicle will have a massive 150-200kWh battery, but with only 300-400 miles of range, which is abysmal in the EV world. It won't save you much in terms of fuel costs and with the added annoyance of having to find a charger while off-roading. This is really what I came to this video to find out, and sadly I'm disappointed to see nothing but a regurgitation of everything that's already out there on UA-cam. Missed opportunity.
I agree. You can't go far if your off roading and 5 hours max for the long drive which might be less depending on road conditions. I dunno but I do like it or I get the C8

GM hasn't learned a damn thing from Tesla's success. Why all of these versions and options? How is that beneficial to the efficient manufacturing process? It isn't. Tesla grows by making a few models well. GM swamps the consumer with options and versions and they leave confused and frustrated. And the GM dealership network then takes advantage of the buyer and sticks it to 'em wherever they can. Just sad.
We have to be honest here. Tesla success did involve government assistance. Let's imagine we have different people in certain positions all could be different. GM and Tesla did not start at the same time. I know such is obvious but had to say it. Hummer will be a limited production vehicle like the last ice model was. It is more of a showcase vehicle. Silverado ev models will be sold in high numbers.
Regardless of Tesla success there are still issues. Cyber Truck is one of them. This talk of building a bespoke truck with new tech at high numbers from a nonlegacy company has never happened if I'm not mistaken. Then the prices given when shown, I'm sorry I did not believe. As I predicted legacy would respond. Tesla has to build a afford able Cyber Truck to take some market share from legacy. A 25K car must be part of that picture too. Such was put to rest recently.
What you suggesting is what start ups will do to fight for market share in US and other countries.
I drive a hummer H3 . China just came out with their hummer has a diesel engine so I’m thinking about when they start importing in the US get one of those I wouldn’t want a electorate vehicle of any kind except my golf cart
That electric vehicle will out perform the diesel version in every category except for one. How fast you can refuel. And WHY would you want to order something that was built in China?!?

What off road truck can accelerate to 60 in 3 seconds, have 4 wheel steer, real torque vectoring, adjustable air suspension, etc, etc, etc... ? I am waiting?
@@dmitchellhomes Tesla Cyber truck specs are in line plus they got a good $30k+ price difference from the Hummer EV. I love my current hummer but $100k+ for a depreciating vehicle doesn't make much sense to me.
@@ThePhotoForce Wait until you see what the actual prices when cyber truck hits the market, do you know Tesla took the prices off their webpage for a reason. Tesla has raised their prices on all vehicles, 20 to 30% this year, and cyber truck, they had just guessed that the 4680 batteries will be cheaper, but now that they have tried to develop them, they have figured out that is much harder than I thought, which means much more expensive. Cybertruck will not hit the market for at least 18 months from now, and will be way more expensive than what Tesla advertised.
