GMC really surprised me with the attention to detail and the execution of this truck. On pavement or off-road, it doesn’t matter what’s underneath you *this* is hands down the funnest & most unique EV and most B.A. pickup on the market. Nobody else is doing this!!

So coincidentally after previously watching a Hummer EV video from a different YT Channel, I found this great video. And I really enjoyed every minute of it. In my childhood, Hummer’s (with V8 engines) were my favorite car. Now, it’s crazy to believe that they’ve come up with a great return with an incredible EV that weighs so much but can go so fast. Everything about it is incredible 👏🏼
The hummer has a presence and a personality like you said it excites you the sounds the graphics most evs are fast and quiet and there you go have a nice life kind of thing haha
The biggest problem I have with EVs is that batteries don't last forever. They will eventually be unable to hold a charge. The cost of replacing these batteries is crazy expensive. With that being said, this thing looks amazing.
I suspect switching the MTs to ATs (pick your brand) would reduce that highway whine by at least half. With that almost vertical windshield, though, the wind noise is there to stay. Kind of wish they did a swing-away tailgate with a rear tire carrier rather than forcing you to put the spare in the bed or go without one altogether. Would've looked good and been more practical. The new Hummer EV SUV has that swinging hatch with the rear-mounted tired carrier and it works really well. Just priced one of these on the GM website. With everything on it, including the max battery pack (389 miles estimated), MSRP is $140K. I don't think it's worth that, but I kind of understand given the massive battery pack. Still, I don't think I'll be mortgaging my house to get one. Of all the EVs out there, though, this is the one I'd want. Really nice looking truck. Kinda wish they'd ditch the fake auto-shifter in the center console, but I guess that's a small thing.
The rear is already set for you. It makes driving so much easier. I just think that’s so freakin cool. I would probably choose this rather than like a Tesla. I also get distracted with buttons that have seat cooling/heating on the screen .

OMG....212 KWh battery size. A full charge at a supercharger at $0.58 per KWH will cost over $120.00. Not worth it considering you are only getting around 330 miles per full charge.
I'm In love with the interior and in the middle about the exterior design but the electric part is what turns Me off, that doesn't say "longevity." Wish more companies would make cars like this but have Gas or even hybrid equivalents.
I'm so happy companies are making vehicles that 98% of Americans will not be able to afford. They should not be getting any praises. Where is the practicality? I wish they were competing to make the least expensive vehicle to travel around in. Even 50k for a new truck or car is too much. This Hummer is amazing, it's just nothing more than a daydream that's all.

Crab walk turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the front. The turning radius is great because it turns the rear wheels in the opposite direction as the front, and with quite a bit of steering angle 👍
Modern cars are no longer about driving, they are about design and functions, multimedia. There will be no more talk about cylinders, sound and character. The same boring electric motors in all cars. In this aspect, gloomy times await auto enthusiasts.
I'm an auto enthusiast and I'm all for electric. Instant insane torque. You got this 9000lb+ truck pulling 3 sec 0-60s and a car like the Tesla Model S Plaid running a 9.3s 1/4 mile. Wont be long before there are 1000hp+ EV Mustangs and Chargers roaming around. The acceleration g-forces these EVs can produce definitely isn't boring. What's gloomy is all the autonomous "safety" features they are adding to cars that take control away from the driver, gas or electric.

All this "immediate acceleration" will make any stool of any shape, with sufficient engine power. This is like a modern nascar or "funny cars" dragsters, they are all the same, only the body changes.
How many times can you launch control before you have to take it for Maintaineance? I mean we can’t pretend carrying all that load is not gonna do some damage.
good vid but the battery is not going down then 100% and when u started to show the inside then there should be all blue on the miles gauge but its a little white and it is showing battery is 100%
This truck has a subtle hum almost sounds like a V8. The Hummer sounds good at idle & on throttle, makes some of the best noises I’ve heard in any EV.
