EPIC SNOOK Fishing at a Flowing Spillway (OMG 😱)

- Some late season rains in South Florida really got the spillways flowing. We were able to get on an epic snook bite at the saltwater spillway, using jigs and swimbaits. I also got to fish with a new friend @Rocco_Cantolupo, check him out on Instagram!

I caught a red snapper at that spillway we were going for snook😊

They opened up the lock. Great Flow this afternoon. 238 cfs . White foamed up water but not biting as if 11-12. Multiple angler have come and gone. Slowly dragging the bottom with jigs. Snag a tilapia, a small snook and jack finally caught.

Thanks Capt! My guess would be SFWMD or the army corp of engineers, but I’m not sure. Just go after periods of heavy rain. It had rained 4-5 days straight when I went. (Just after Christmas)

Thats one of my favorite spots bro, especially since right behind you is a golf course and there's some nice Lakes on there where I caught a bunch of big bass! PSL fishing is underrated bro!

I went to the same spill way in palm city the first time I went snook fishing and caught 15. Most of them smallies but I did good for no experience and going by myself.
