Are you using Westside for your podcasts? I feel like every few weeks you do a podcast that is the best thing i have ever heard. then 3 weeks later you beat it. this is fantastic!
Easily one of the best episodes so far. I love listening to guys like Matt Wenning, CWS, Duffin and Stan Efferding dropping knowledge. Keen for part 2. Would like to hear from Dave Tate, the Lilliebridges or Dan green again to talk about his rehab after surgery. Even Kevin Oak or Pete Rubish would be mint!
I've met Frankl a few times now and he's an awesome guy! I train with James Grandick and Mike Taylor and the amount of knowledge, stories and just power I've seen is amazing!
Please please please please PLEASE have Adam Nelson on the podcast. The guy is an animal and knows soooo much stuff. The most intense athlete in my opinion. As an ex shot putter turned powerlifter it would be amazing to witness a conversation between you guys.
I agree with the comment about having on John Meadows, great guy and a crazy work ethic! Evan Centopani on talking about nutrition would be great as well 👌🏻
Great podcast. Found your channel a few months ago when i started strength training and it has been more helpful than just about anything else. Really love the work you guys are doing! Any plans to add the ST shorts to your European distributors?
We have a bunch of episodes with guests in different categories banked up. I try to rotate categories as much as possible to get a good mix in release.
Heyyyy! Where'd that really cool, soothing intro music that plays during the sponsorship ads, go? I love that music, & I'm on youtube, so you know how resistant to change I am! Lol (seriously though, I love that music!)
I want to try bands and/or chains on the bench, but I feel that I don't know which type of band, how thick and how to do the setup for it and how much they really add
Groggen Andersson if you Google "elitefts band chart" it'll tell you the band tensions/weight at various heights. even if you don't use elitefts bands, which I highly recommend, you can kind of guess based on comparing sizes.
just start light. use mini bands. if you loop them over the bar, down under a dumbbell, then back up over the bar, they should be around 50lbs of band tension each (100lbs total) near lockout for most people. adjust your bar weight until you reach your desired bar speed.
Jim McDonald if you could get him and Jim Wendler on the same podcast that would be awesome. Vincent has been using 531 under Jim's guidance for his massive weight loss and hearing about that process from them would be a huge hit I think.
Dayerrick Ireland You'd have to lay out bread crumbs from Wendlers house to supertraining in order to get him there except for bread crumbs it'd be cialis and hatebreed cds.
Patrick Devaney Look at Matt, he already had 10 years of lifting just straight weight before switching to bands. I'd stay away from accomodating resistance untill you're more experienced and have great technique
I've met Frankl a few times now and he's an awesome guy! I train with James Grandick and Mike Taylor and the amount of knowledge, stories and just power I've seen is amazing!
This may be one of the best podcasts they have done. Definitely the best in a while, I absolutely can't wait for part 2.
Watching it now, I bet you are right :)
I Was just about to comment this as well

Wenning is a smart dude. Love hearing his insights, and I love the old school multi-ply stories.

Jim McDonald Thank you Jim McD! You're the man!
Love listening to what Matt Wenning has to say. Only thing better is his beef with Ed on instagram :D
Heyyyy! Where'd that really cool, soothing intro music that plays during the sponsorship ads, go? I love that music, & I'm on youtube, so you know how resistant to change I am! Lol (seriously though, I love that music!)
I took it on vacation with me
Phrase of the episode, "the point is"
I want to try bands and/or chains on the bench, but I feel that I don't know which type of band, how thick and how to do the setup for it and how much they really add

just go to elitefts.com read an article about benching with bands and they'll recommend bands based off your max
So complicated to find the right article.

Vinny Dizenzo would be a good guest.
That's a good call.

Or Jim Wendler, Dave Tate, some guys along those lines. I like the variety of different guests. I love the podcasts with Matt Wenning too.

Get him on skype!
bring back the flat powerlifting shoes from reebok
Question: Should a new lifter start out using bands and chains?
Patrick Devaney Look at Matt, he already had 10 years of lifting just straight weight before switching to bands. I'd stay away from accomodating resistance untill you're more experienced and have great technique
Is Matt still doing a conjugate system?
Come on smelly, I have a pen and paper every time I watch the pod cast.
You need to get Matt on the new podcast

The current one hasn't been around long. Most people seem to skip it anyway.
Just don't compliment any women on how in good of shape they are or Reebok will drop you like a hot potato.
