Although I love the new version more, this one is also special to me. I have a lot of good memories with this song. Sometimes this song reminds me of my childhood self. Trespass, Mendes Prey, and Praying Mantis are my most beloved NWOBHM band after IRON MAIDEN. I became a metalhead in my last years of school days after listening to Bangladeshi metal acts like Powersurge, Rockstrata, Cryptic Fate, Gene-Split, Scarecrow, etc. Take love from Bangladesh. NWOBHM Forever.
Lyrics You never listen to a word I say You close your mind and you walk away Said, listen to the radio while it plays Im a-gonna get you, one of these days One of these days One of these days You run around give yourself a bad name I really think you aint got no shame Gotcha picture hanging in (The back door frame?) Im gonna get you, just the same, One of these days One of these days
How fucken good are these guys!!!! Old school with the edge. I can listen to this over and over. Great work!!! I want to blast it for all to hear!!! Fuck!!!
Possibly the best ever song from the NWOBHM daze, with a riff to kill for, and the lyrics, well what can I say?, they can make a grown man cry, just dynamite on vinyl.
I haven't heard this in years. I bought the single via mail order. I was about 16ish. I hung around with Neal Kayes releif DY when he was at The Bandwagon (Kingsbury) so I got a good 'heads-up' on all stuff coming out. Great times...
awesome track from underrated nwobhm band tresspass they only did a few ep's and that was it. magic vocals. one of these days things will get better i hope. #nwobhmforever
My all time favourite NWOBHM track; just superb. One of my first ever live gigs was seeing Trespass at the Horse and Groom in Bedford. Happy memories: seems an absolute eternity ago now. Thanks for putting it in UA-cam.
The promoters of HOA have been aware that Trespass won't be appearing for months, and yet continue to show the band included on the bill. They'll be a new Trespass album within the year and some shows to follow.
Cheers NoiseFilthFury, Love this track, used to mosh to this back in the day, In fact I have the Metal 4 Mutha's album not 3 feet away from me in my album collection. Also love Dark Star, "lady of Mars". But "one of these days" was one of the 1st songs I learned on guitar. This is WAY, the best version.
Sounds as good now as It did in '79, still own the 7", sensational!
Long live classic heavy rock style!
This song is so fucking awesome, just classic NWOBHM. It sucks so many people don't know about it and it's so obscure.
I have adored this song since 1979 - the duel guitars are fantastic.
Amazing song !
More people should listen to it at least once
JUST PICKED UP A COPY OF THIS 7" AT A RECORD FAIR - MINT CONDITION TOO!

Found out about this one from the NWOBHM '79 Revisited Compilation. Always was one of my favs off of it. Love the lead guitar work during the verses!

Loved this song for decades. Brilliant.
Back when metal was bad ass. I miss all these bands.

One of the best of the nwobhm bands...very very missed.....
This is another one that made the list for the show ...
Its taken me a while to find this song - I thought this band would have gone on and made the big time - but there we go. Still a very track.

I got here by looking up Toad the Wet Sprocket on Wikipedia.
They should reform, even a one off album and gig would be fantastic.
Oliverlodge2012 they are alive and kicking!😊

This is the Muthas version.
