I really like these 1970s Japanese cars. The equipment shows why they managed to make inroads to the British buying public. Compare this to a BL 18/22, a Ford Cortina Mk3 (apart from the GXL), or a Vauxhall Victor FE, and you can see why they were selling. It's got nice styling and a good-looking interior, too.
I'd definitely be a 2000 SL Hardtop guy. The answer to your question about whether the radio was an option is that it was optional on the 1600 models, and standard on both of the 2000 models. In the days before hatchbacks were common, I always preferred the pillarless hardtop coupes over the saloons. To me, saloon equals boring and conservative. I never owned a conventional four door booted saloon. I did briefly own a 1989 model SAAB 900 two door saloon, which was certainly not boring. It had the 45 degree slanted longitudinally mounted "H Series" 1998cc engine which was used in both the SAAB 99 and 900 models, and the Triumph Dolomite. The gearbox was five speed manual and mounted beneath the engine, had a separate oil sump, and the drive came off the front of the engine. Forward tilting clamshell bonnet. Great access to the engine. As for my favourite Galant model range, it was certainly the Galant Sigma and Scorpion range from the late seventies. I've mentioned the Sigma Scorpion before. It was the coolest two door hardtop coupe of the seventies without a doubt.
And these were sold as the Chrysler Galant in Australia. Mitsubishi didn't become a brand in our market until 1980, which meant anything that was released in Australia from Mitsubishi, was actually sold as a Chrysler.

If you look at the wiper pattern photo, adding blades that are at least two inches longer on both arms would have covered a lot more screen area.

The colt, was a little car, with 1200 or 1400 engines . Galant were the big ones . In Denmark, they were named Mitsubishi . Colt, Lancer , and Galant
Depends on the market/region as the Colt name was used randomly.
