Awesome video, Leslie! Thank you so much for sharing! That salad looks so beautiful and delicious! The hamburger steak looks delicious too. I really enjoy your lovely recipes! Sorry about the bread, I appreciate you sharing the experience, makes me feel better for when things don’t turn out, because it can be so frustrating! I love you guys, God bless you all 🤗❤️🙏
I make this salad often. It’s a classic at our house. I wish so much that you would get a camera that shows what you are doing. It would be nice to always see your workspace.
That little pan you did the almonds on....I have two of those that I use in my air fryer. I have the shelves type air fryer, not the drawer type, so those trays are perfect size for it. They work in the toaster oven too.
I made the focaccia bread recipe that King Arthur flour publicized. It takes all afternoon but it is very good. I made a basil garlic dip to go with it.
If we hadn’t had burgers I would have made the salad and maybe chicken. Hubby found a recipe for these burgers and asked to have tonight. Called crack burgers. lb ground chuck 3 tosp sour cream 2 tbsp ranch dressing mix 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Directions: In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined. Form the mixture into 4 hamburger patties. Grill the patties to your desired doneness, being careful as the burgers will be very moist. Flip them carefully to avoid breaking. Serve on your favorite hamburger buns, topped with lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo. These were so good!!
I’m new here. Chris and Tammy Nichols told me about your channel so I’m tuning in from Knightdale, NC (4 miles east of Raleigh city limits). Nice to meet you, Leslie!
I really need to make that dressing and keep on hand. I rhought the strawberries were so pretty. They look better than what we can get here in NE Ohio when they are in season. 😊 You sound like maybe you are about to lose your voice - hope not...Mrs.Steve
Salad Dressing looks yummy.. you mentioned 'garlic' to Bryant as per ingredients, but I did not see you add garlic, nor include garlic in the recipe? just wondering!!! Would love a whole series on homemade dressings!
✍Hello Leslie... Sorry your new recipe for bread didn't turn out like you had hoped. I've learned that when I have a tried and true recipe I don't try a different recipe hoping to have a another choice to make cause I've never had any luck. As old as I am and love Salads I just can't make myself use fruit in salad I just have to have tomatoes in mine. I know people even like grapes in Chicken salad and it makes me want to gag...ha ha ha I always used gr.beef to make "Hamburger Steak" but when I wanted to have something different I used to be able to buy oval shaped ground sirloin patties at the grocery store. I asked the butcher a few years ago if he had any? He proceeded to tell me the company wasn't making them anymore and none of the other grocery stores here were either. Just like "Round Bone" beef roasts, I always preferred to buy that cut of beef and they're so delicious but haven't been available for over 25-30 years. Who'd thought certain cuts of meat would not be available anymore. So like you I stick to Ground Beef not hamburger. I've noticed people in the South calling all ground meats hamburger. Hamburger is the cheapest and full of fat 73/27 so I never buy it. We just had a real good sale on Ground Chuck 80/20 (gr.beef) and had my daughter go grocery shopping for me to buy some 🍔 I agree about ground beef being cooked 'well done" Looking forward to your next video. Stay Safe and Warm. Good Night😴 God Bless LuvYa! Bye from frigid ❄⛄NE Ohio ❄⛄
Where was the recipe from that didn’t work? Just curious because I’m always trying different recipes. Wouldn’t want to make the one that doesn’t turn out.
I am at our home in Florida right now and it’s cold but dry Ian is at home in Scotland on Grampa duties as we are expecting a winter storm red alert 100 mile an hour winds rain etc schools , buiness shut Work from home if you can Son staying overnight at work to supply emergency services with food etc He’s been instructed to charge my heated blankets , vests for the dogs can’t have them cold
She flopped trying a different recipe . Told viewers what happened. No harm in saying you flopped and won’t be showing us the bread. She’s not talking to us like children.
My daughter-in-law would love this salad 😊. I’m sure the boys will love the strawberry.

I love this salad any time of year and the dressing, too! Sooo good…✌️❤️
Salad looks wonderful
I love trying new recipes and many of them are flops. Your salad and dressing really looked good.

Maybe one day!
I thought she does usually tilt the camera so we can see her prepare the food. That salad looks great!
@ not today
Let's play a fun game: take a drink everytime Leslie says bread.
Thank you Leslie I love your videos ❤️❤️Thanks for sharing your recipes with us 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
You're welcome! I'm so glad you enjoy them.
You need to put candied pecans with your strawberry salad. It is out of this world.
I think tomorrow I will make up that dressing and keep it on the door on my refrigerator ready to go
I love a good salad. Will be trying the dressing too.
I need to get a few more of the Kinder’s spices too.

I have those same kitchen towels from Sam’s club
We all have flops from time to time. My hubby calls them failed experiments! I don't have many, but when I do, they are epic!
If Leslie couldn't get the bread right, there is no need for me to try. 😂
If we hadn’t had burgers I would have made the salad and maybe chicken.

Welcome! Thank you for stopping by
I made your chicken pie today. Absolutely delicious
Thank you so much! I love that you tried it!
Is that the same salad dressing that you use on the autumn salad? That’s a family favorite at my house!
I really need to make that dressing and keep on hand. I rhought the strawberries were so pretty. They look better than what we can get here in NE Ohio when they are in season. 😊 You sound like maybe you are about to lose your voice - hope not...Mrs.Steve

There was no garlic. I'm not sure why I said that, but it would be good in it.
Sorry about your bread! 🫤
I can’t find your bread recipe?! Found the video!
The link to the recipe is in the description of the video i linked in this description
What size box of rice did Caroline use in acp chicken , sorry I could only find big box

If you flop go back and do your recipe. At least begging cooks see and know experienced cooks flop making something. Not just them.

Move on Leslie. We are adults don't talk to your viewer's like children.
That's very unkind and uncalled for. If you don't like it, scroll on.
What are you talking about?
She flopped trying a different recipe . Told viewers what happened. No harm in saying you flopped and won’t be showing us the bread.
She’s not talking to us like children.
Huh? What?..............................
