I'll be going to Portugal and Spain in the summer. I was skeptical when you mentioned leggings and joggers, but with the top pieces you chose, you wouldn't really tell they were joggers. I usually go with palazzos. Comfortable and elegant. Also, here in Canada, when travelling international, we don't have to remove our shoes.
We’re going to Paris and Italy this year! (Can’t wait!) So I’m loving your tips. I’m not usually a sneaker wearer but I do like both the pairs you showed. And the shoestring replacement. Thanks for sharing!
@@SenterStuff61 I am so excited for your trip to Paris and Italy this year! We are going to Europe this fall and like you, I am excited! You have to come back here and let me know about your trip 😉
If I'm travelling on an airline with a carry on weight restriction (APAC carriers are notorious for low limits) and I'm close to the limit, I'll often wear my jeans through check in until the bag has been weighed and then change into leggings/joggers for the flight itself. I always keep my in flight outfit in its own small packing cube (and often in my personal item) so it's really easy to grab out of my bag.
Hi Lori good to hear your voice again. When I travel I'm like you always wear shoes that slip on and slip off easily. Always wear pants so comfortable on a plane and my cardigan I usually wear is in between wool and cotton just that it's not to heavy but keeps you warm if needed. Thank you for showing us some tips you always give good advice. 😀
Took your suggestion on joggers for a trip. Very versatile item and sooo comfortable. Will definitely be my go-to for air travel from now on! Great video! Appreciate your genuineness!
I love wearing my white with gold accents Tamaris sneakers for flight, I can slip in and out with complete ease. And I prefer to wear compression flight and this way i can wear them.
I just checked my shoes and they have those type of laces (kind of) and I got some comfy pants and two layers so I am good to go! Taking a very long international flight now in 3 short weeks so I am super happy you put this video up!! I sort of felt it was made just for me 🤭 Thank You as always Lori..and You Were MISSED! xx
I just ordered your backpack off Amazon. love your tips for travel. Traveling to London, Scotland & Ireland in a couple of months for 3 weeks. Trying to pack lite.
I have a travel uniform. In Fall, Winter and Spring its: J. Crew Pixie Pants. White Tee, denim jacket or a navy blazer . On my feet I wear only ballet flats. Summer: since I fly to Nice every summer its either white denim shorts, Rondini Sandals and a tee. Or..a sundress and Rondini sandalsi have TSA so I don’t take my shoes off.
I'm in my late 50s. Always wear heels (it's more fashionable) & sandals (because your feet swell). Never book connecting flights. Always direct= no running 😉
I ALWAYS wear socks to travel BUT....I only wear the socks to go through the TSA line. After I go through, I place those dirty socks inside the luggage and continue my trip with no socks. I am NOT putting those dirty socks into my shoes. I AM a germ freak! Great info.
Hi Lori, thanks for this video. I am so glad I found it while trying to find something nice to wear for traveling. I have two questions regarding the brown loafers. would like to know if they are heavy and if the size comes correctly. I am outside the US and I am considering ordering them but for me the weight is a big deal because I cannot tolerate heavy shoes. Thanks in advance for your response.
HI there - the do run true to size. I wear 6.5 US and ordered the same. The fit perfectly. Because they have a slightly lug sole they are a bit heavier than most of my other shoes. However, I do not find them uncomfortably heavy at all. I hope this helps! Thanks so much for being here 🙂🙂🙂
I suggestion re slip on shoes and socks. If you slip off your shoes and walk in socks, are you then putting your socked foot back into your shoes???? I suggest taking another pair of socks to put on after you walk through the security line and before you put your shoes back on. Otherwise, you are putting all those yucky things from the floor into your shoes!
@The.LifeWithLori some people buy throw away Sox for this purpose-- they wear them over their actual sox or put them on when they remove their shoes. They dispose of these sox afterward. Others take a pair of sox, slip them on in the tsa security line, & then pack them up in a ziplock bag. They wash them upon reaching their destination & have them ready to go for the return security checkpoint on their way home.
I saw where someone suggested wearing two pairs of socks and taking off the outer pair after walking through TSA. You can put those dirties in a ziplock bag until washing.
I am a seasoned traveler and one of my favorite travel outfits is a midi straight dress.. usually navy or black with a cardigan. I am covered but very comfortable and it it is a straight non bulky dress so it does not get caught in anything
Instead of true "leggings", I prefer either yoga pants or jeggings. Both tend to be a little thicker material than leggings so they are a bit less revealing.
Lori I’m new to your channel 🎉 I am visually impaired so I need some help ❤ what are your 2 pink bags in the back. I’m trying to find a good cruise carry on bag (number3 coming soon still struggling with finding what works) HELP ❤ I must carry my camera bag and a small medical lunch box (the camera bag is as small as the medical lunch box)
The bag in the back that is sitting on top of my luggage is this backpack - it is awesome! www.amazon.com/dp/B08PL64QLP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share The only other pink thing I see in the background are pink shoes. I hope this helps 🤗🤗🤗
Lori. That was so nice if u to help ur neighbor with reducing her clothing and helping her to prepare for her new adventure in Thailand. U r so very awesome
I’ve never seen someone use so many hand gestures! It was distracting for me. I thought you were signing. My problem, I know, just thought maybe others might feel the same.
Wait just a minute! You are in your early 50s. I was thinking that for a young lady in her early 30s, you know a lot about traveling wisely. Blew me away!
@@The.LifeWithLori I thought you were in your late 20's or early 30's too! I'm 71 and loved these tips - I did notice your gestures but having been in Toastmasters [public speaking organization] the hands seemed effective.
Honestly, you need to hold your hands still while talking. Your hyper movements are so distracting, and by now you’ve knocked everything off the shelves
Will you be traveling this year? If so, where are you going?
The Land of Smiles~~~THAILAND!😉

Love your comments but found your hand moments so distracting.
I understand, it’s a thing around here 😁
Must agree too much hand movements……too distracting 😢
I like your hand gestures, they enhance your verbiage and show your character!
Must be lessen ( your hands gesture)
I stopped watching because of the hands. Maybe she is practicing parking a plane. 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you for your videos and information. Very helpful!
Glad I saw your video, I was planning on wearing a midi skirt on my trip this April. Great tips!! 👍🏻😊

Hi Regina, I love that you have a great plan. I appreciate you being here, thank you 😊
Agreed 100%. I wear 2 thin socks through security and then remove the top socks so that the socks underneath stay clean to put back into my shoes.

Thank you for the great advice. Your top is beautiful - would you recommend that type for a flight also
