Yes, this is the way. Charged aftershock does big damage on chaos marines alongside gun strikes. If you step back then aftershock, minoris will jump into the splash damage. 3 shield segments will resist some ranged damage. Melee minoris will easily strip shield segments and are the greatest threat. Luckily, ground pound and aftershock helps deal with this enemy type I am currently experimenting with using the class perks that resist attacks while you are charging a melee attack. These are the red attacks from majoris. The idea is to released fully charged attacks when the enemy uses a red aura attack, which chaos marines use alot. The shield segments will absorb the red attack, or contested health gain will heal back the health if the shields are stripped simply by using such a high damage, fully charged aftershock
perhaps the best assault player I have seen. I'm always delighted when I get a notification that you have uploaded. Also picking up some good tips watching these, so keep them coming!
I do not know what I'm doing wrong but I cannot for the life of me get the second slam to work. Can anyone give a detailed description of when this attack can happen and what buttons you need to press? Yes, I have the weapon perk equipped.
Thunder hammer is by far the best choice on assault since it makes your ground pound AOE enormous and can clear trash effectively for both tyranids and chaos. Power fist is probably the worst melee weapon in game currently and it's Horde clear AOE/gunstrike setups are horrendous which is the opposite of what your class wants to do as assault.
@@jacobchmielewski3622 Lol it is not, the jetpack perk is fundamentally awful and parrying disrupts more enemies than dodging the majority of the time. If you think those are good perks you must be pretty bad hahaha.
@@DJSkittles365 His Source - "Trust me Bro" Not even the legend ChocoB uses the shit jetpack perks on Assault and he's one of Darktide's best players and that game has far harder input execution than Space Marine 2 There have been ZERO people with uploaded gameplay of 100% flawless execution with the jet pack perks, but this guy is the one who does it every time with his grand total of zero uploads. Definitely.
Those perks are trash, they fundamentally rip from your class objective even if you have flawless execution and if you don't have flawless execution 100% of the time then you're just losing ground pound cooldown for almost zero benefit over a normal dodge.
My man at it again. Against the forces of chaos i see.

Assault class GOD!!!
So, now that you've been playing with the perks... which thunder hammer perk line do you prefer?

Do you think thunderhammer or powerfist is better? Also, do you use different builds on them for chaos / tyranids?
He has a power fist vid as well check it out

Have you tried the perfect dodge jetpack perk combo? Just curious. It feels like a bad idea but I wanna know how it actually performs
I’m better than this guy by a lot and I can tell you the dodge route is good
I have, you're at best getting a slightly better perfect dodge and at worse you're removing a charge from your ground pound which is terrible.

How do you do that quick follow up hit after a charged attack?
I think its a weapon perk, adds an additional slam
@@MiorAkif thanks
what perk is the double slam? relic weapon perk?
weapon perk
Aftershock improved weapon perk
0:06 not using 24 & 25💀

Neither of those perks are particularly good.
