I have one similar in size, the m101n blue grey with a 14 k nib. All my other Pelikan pens are m200/205 or m400 models until after Christmas. Thank you for sharing that book. I had never heard of it but will surely seek it out. God bless!

You are a joy to watch and listen to. Being “long in tooth” I’m late in returning to my love of fountain pens from my teenage years. I also appreciate beautiful design. My collection is very limited and was considering Pelikan, and I’m now convinced that Pelikan will be my next acquisition. If I might be so bold to ask, what pen is your every day carry and writer? Do you have a preference for your left or right hand? Finally - thank you!
Hi, David. Thank you so much for the kind words. My everyday carry consists of my Montegrappa Mia, Cross Bailey Light, Aurora 888, Lamy Vista and a Rotring rollerball. As for the Pelikans, there is a US based seller that has good prices on eBay. I don’t have a preference for hands. I am a natural righty but switch when my hand gets tired or if I need to switch angles when drawing.
Hi! How wonderful to stumble upon your channel here. I believe we have exchanged some handmade watercolors in the past :) turns out we have fountain pens in common as well.
Nice explanation of the differences between these three beautiful pens, but the best part for me was discovering the brilliant nib log form you are using. I found out that form is downloadable from Yoseka Stationerey, and I can then print it on my own choice of paper 🙂
Hi. I understand your point. I check the seller’s feedback, other items for sale and length on eBay. I’m comfortable with the seller “penmarket”. They sell mainly Pelikan items.
Hi, MrJeremy! I starting to use M more. I just ordered a pen with a B because all other nibs were out of stock. I plan on grinding it thinner unless it wows me. You never know. 😀

On most of my Pelikan i turn off the light and i can see the ink in the barrel via flashlight 😊

I couldn’t imagine using a BB or BBB. I love shimmer inks though and these broad nibs would be great with those.
