Hello... My Samsung galaxy C7 pro display is dead. I cannot see anything also the touch doesn't works. It is also pin locked. Can I connect this phone too as you did? I saw somewhere that in samsung mobile we need to agree to the pop up in mobile screen after that only screen would be shared on monitor. Please reply I need to back up my data from it.
I used my LG Stylus 2 for this one. Its really cracked, But the LCD is still working. I used it as a pocket PC, I also used some wimdows simulators (Win 10, 7, and 95)

It would of been nice since you were making a video on how to do this then maybe you would explain HOW TO DO IT! It's like it was just a lazy attempt at showing us how to do it correctly. Just get a mini lcd screen, like he said phones don’t have video input. You would be better off buying a cheap mini screen

Weird question I realise, but since you can see your phone display (what it looks like in portrait on your video at least) is there any way to control the actual phone's settings via deX?
The reason I ask is because I'm loathe to pay £250 to repair the screen, but from previous experience adjusting the brightness on a cracked screen has at least allowed me to navigate the phone- if not perfectly.
You can just mirror your phone , by deactivating the dex software, and you will have access to your phone menu.

It gives you a desktop environment to run some compatible apps, it will run Android games.

It doesn't have Samsung DeX however if it has Type C 3.0 and Android 10 then you can go into Developer Options and enable "Desktop Mode".
NOTE: IT WILL NOT WORK ON DEVICES WITH TYPE C 2.0 OR LOWER AND ANDROID 9 AND LOWER.

Hello, debug mode is hidden until you activate Developer Mode in your device.

@ychaf7790 I don't think you can, only way I know to unlock developer options is bye going on settings and clicking on the device model 7 times or 11.. I'm sure I'll get corrected on that.. but yeah you'll need your screen tho

It cost 300 canadian dollars for a new screen, i don’t think the phone is worth that much. The hub cost 20$, and you give a new life to a broken phone, you should try it, it works really well.

- a usb-c port for the power supply
- a usb-c built in cable to connect the phone;
- 2 USB 3.0 port ( for mouse, keyboard, etc..)
- an hdmi for video output.

No, The Galaxy A70 doesn't support Samsung Dex yet. Currently it runs on all of Samsung's flagship smartphones and some devices which is close to flagship.

Hello, if you phone have video output, you can connect it to a monitor and use a Bluetooth mouse/keyboard to browse your phone and make a backup of of your contact.

Here's the thing though you should never throw out your phones because it's still got your information on it and it's still linked with your Google account so never throw out your phones if they're broken like that with your account information don't throw it out cuz if you get locked out your Gmail account then that's the only device you can get your email account back into because that device is connected to your email account
