- Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responds to a boating accident on Biscayne Bay. Fireboat 73 transported the three accident victims to Black Point Marina, where they were treated and transported to JMH-South Trauma Center by both Air Rescue units. Unfortunately, one of the victims did not survive.
In this video we see both Air Rescue units side by side, which is rare. Also Rescues, 34, 70, and 74. And Platform 34. Other units were also involved but not seen on the video.

Thank you for reporting this incident in a sensitive and respectful way and not sensationalist. I have watched many boating videos of Blackpoint Marina and Haulover inlet and dread that these accidents can occur. I offer my deepest sympathy, condolences and prayers to all concerned. Hi. It's an old A.O.R. Model AR800. I use it as my portable scanner. I use a Realistic Pro 2004 as my base station. Thanks for the comment.

I wander what happened. I use to store my boat at black point marina in ‘92 before Hurricane Andrew.
Supposedly equipment malfunction during a test run.
