the cricket is louder lol
💀💀💀🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is the only exhaust that doesn't sound like complete ass on the 15+ WRX's. Awesome review, will be picking these up for my 19.
Thanks for watching! Let us know if we can hook you up!
I've had this set up with a catted downpipe, and it sounds amazing.
Tame on normal driving, but press the gas and it screams like a EVO honestly. I love it.
As someone who has put this on my WRX I can say that it is very quiet. Not much louder than stock, just deeper and the crackles between shifts are more prevalent. IF you really want the new FA20dit to sound good you need a downpipe to accompany it
+steevieg My N1 (with resonator and dual) is very deep and has lots of bass, but I wouldn't call it too loud. These videos always put the microphone right next to the exhaust tip to make it sound louder. You wouldn't bother neighbors because the sound of it high idling (warming up seems to be when it is at its loudest) only travels about 5-7 yards.
I think it's the catalytic converters they put on modern cars that makes them so quiet.
+steevieg oh yeah with a cobb J pipe already installed it will be crazy loud haha I still have a stock downpipe and cat. Definitely will make it sound deeper though
+steevieg dude try having the same jpipe and a muffler delete lol I know my neighbors are pissed when it's warming up in the morning. I can almost bet the N1 is going to be way quieter
+Gareth Bowen well said about the loudness of the N1 Duals.
Hey old comment I know but what kind of performance improvement did you get? I just got my cobb port but I'm bone stock
nameless cat back, resonated mid pipe, and muffler delete. please and thank you :)
Just installed this on my 2015 and wow is it way quieter than I was expecting. Seems like the only way to get any sound out of these fa20's is by putting on an aftermarket downpipe.
+shoelace00 Interesting! We agree. Putting our downpipe on Ian's car really really opened it up!
After having this exhaust on my 16 WRX I can tell you that it is not loud at all. Louder than stock but not by much. I previously had the nameless muffler deletes and those were louder. I just ordered a invidia catted downpipe to bring this N1 to life.
What kind of performance boost did you get? I'm bone stock but I just bought my cobb port so this is my next upgrade
Kuni - Kimina you wont get any added boost performance with this exhaust. With the FA20DIT you need a catted downpipe or a catless downpipe to get real added performance.
@@Angel68iou1 yep thanks. I had it backwards I thought the exhaust was the most restrictive part did a bunch of research and now I know better, probably gonna get the Cobb pipe so I can use the pre made maps and save time and money getting it pro tuned (nearest place is 3hrs away)
Any sound clips of your N1 duals with the catted J Pipe? That combo is surprisingly hard to find on UA-cam. Thanks!
I hear a brz or frs chirping in the background
CP-E Austenite axle-back with the mufflers (there are two versions)
3:27 sounds like it has a little subie rumble...?
awesome complete review! wanna see nameless with resonated mid pipe
PLM titanium dual exhaust I would love to hear that exhaust
So does the N1 make more power than the Q300?
+julianenguillado It's really a wash to be honest. Every cat back has shown pretty much the same power.
Great Video! Would it be possible if you guys could test the turboxs catback exhaust?
Keep the videos flowing
I wish I could hear the N1 side by side with a muffler delete I did the delete and wish it had that muffler sound but don't want it to be so quiet
I am very interested into a ETS catback if that is something you can review in the future.
Not a loud exhaust by any means, AWE track is best
Love this exhaust. Got it on my rsx
Hey man. How’s it going? I know it’s been 5 years but I was wondering if you knew if the n1 was louder, quieter, or the same as a regular muffler delete?
How loud it is? Is it enough to be notice or too loud to upset your neighbours?
So am I right to say that from quietest to loudest it goes invidia Q300, Tomei, cobb, then invidia N1?
I think loudness is very subjective. Depending on who you ask they would say from quietest to loudest, Q300, Cobb, N1, then Tomei.
dtiko how is loudness subjective? Unless some people are going deaf, Decibels aren't subjective lol.
peoples perception of sound is different and the diction they use to describe it varies, no one measures actual decibels so there isn't really a quantifiable "loudness" that the general public uses.
Kiliab Gonzalez some people don’t know the difference between loud and deep
how bad of an idea would it be to run cobbs stage 2 with this exhaust
can you do a video for the borla catback?
can you do a video on ARK grip catback exhaust for 2015-17 wrx
Can you test the ARK GRiP catback exhaust? Thanks!
What is the size from ypipe to axleback? Wondering what gasket to buy for it.
Dude it's basically stock
Can you test out the ets extreme catback exhaust (non resonated) thanks :)
Wow it sounds so gooooood I just love the pops! Oh wait that was just wind.. Lol
Will you make a video on the Varex Muffler?
Would this fit on a 2008 wrx
Good video🔥
These newer Subarus don't even sound like Subarus anymore. No rumble just sound like every other ricer Honda
Rumble is for slow people.
I just traded a 370z Nismo for a 2016 WRX. I want to get more HP, any recommendations?
+Julio DeAnda So far we have done tune and exhaust and have seen some pretty great improvements. We are working on a few more bolt ons, so stay tuned!
+Julio DeAnda Boost controller cheapest way and quickest:)
+Julio DeAnda Do the typical stage 2 mods from cobb and look at getting a pro-tune done. I've seen quite decent results from this.
+Sithborn - Quickest way to mess up your car!
***** yup:))
Review the ets cat back please.
Does anyone know if the n1 is louder, quieter, or the same as a regular muffler delete on a Subaru wrx? I have a 2017 wrx and am waiting for it to be fixed that this guys shop and I was thinking of getting the n1 but wasn’t sure because I heard it doesn’t do a lot in terms of performance gain? I am going to get a Cobb intake and access port for a tune so not really sure. I’m thinking of sticking with the muffler delete cause I was hoping the n1 is the same if not louder than a muffler delete but doesn’t seem like it. Any help would be appreciated 🙂
Alex Blain the invidia N1 is relatively quite but has a deep tone. Installing a downpipe will help with sound. Muffler deletes imo loud raspy obnoxious. Spend money on quality exhaust set up you can enjoy for years. Hope this helps
@@BoxHeadBrett hey what downpipe goes well with it
Any name brand will work but Cobbs downpipe sounds the best. You'll need a tune if you go that route
I like it.
Nice Video.
I just purchased this exhaust from you guys, do I need an adapter if using the stock down pipe? Thanks
Yes you will need an adapter on stock down pipe. We have a Grimmspeed that is awesome! PN# GRI 077046
Was curious, will I be needing to tune with a cat back system on my 16 wrx?
Nope! No tune required.
not very loud. a cat back on an older wrx is much louder
Kyle Miller bad audio quality, in really life it sounds greaaaat
invidia n1 racing single
Is this with or without the silencers on it?
+WRXHSKY Without!
Its really kind of hard to gauge the sound as the audio is not the best. Do you guys have any additional audio footage? Some of the other tests you've done with previous cat backs showcase the sound a lot better.
Get a de-cat then it will sound like a real scooby
Not diggin the soda cans
I miss Ian
Looks cool, but sounds quiet.
Loud to where I'll get bothered by the cops all the time? Love the video just haven't heard it in person.
I ordered one anyways so we'll see how it goes lol
+Steven Kirkbright You shouldn't have a problem. BUT that depends on how you drive and how the cops are feeling that day. Drive smart and have fun!
Thanks for the reply! I'll keep those RPMs low around the cops ;) lol
I'm currently thinking of buying this same one as well, how do you like it? and has it caused complaints or problems?
+ACEthetrue I really like it. not as loud as I was fearing. pretty quiet if you're driving responsibly. cold starts are very loud and also loud at high rpm but aside from that I daily it with no complaints
Any drone on this?
Pretty minimal!
MAPerformance wonderful I have one being put on my 2018 WRX next weekend wooo!
Justin Kos, how does the sound compare to stock? I've got a 2018 wrx too and this could be the go. thanks
U call that loud?🤦🏾♂️
It’s so quite…
Is this louder than the nameless 4" muffler delete axle-back?
I wondered the same thing. since nobody will get back to us with that answer I will just let you know in about a week. I have a muffler delete right now and already ordered this exhaust it will be here shortly
How'd they compare? Which is louder and sound better?
The invidia n1 exhaust is so quiet it sounds almost stock im not kidding. It does add power back that the straight pipe obviously was robbing plus ths larger diameter piping on the n1 helps too im sure. It is semi loud when you get on it hard so i guess thats cool but over all disappointed its so wimpy on noise but living in my neighborhood it was pretty rude to have it loud. Overall of you need power you have to do it and it is the loudest exhaust you can get but thats a joke. Hope it helps.
Sounds like equal headers.
equal length header is a factory part on this model (2015 wrx)
Why would you want anything else? Equal headers is awful for your car.
👍🏻🤙🏻
Could you turn down the volume of your intro music?
Music is a very subjective thing, and people subscribe to car channels to listen to honest car/parts review and the sound of the cars.
CORSA!!!!
Your mic was not good sound not crisp
