This is one of my go-to moments for explaining Taskmaster as a show to someone. If it's not mentioned in the instructions, it's fair game, no matter how absurd.
@@blazingfuryoffire1 And to be fair, some of those result in the best moments of the show...if they don't get called out on it. I feel bad for those that think they're clever, only to get no points
Likewise, my go-to moment is when Rhod was to make Alex take as long as possible untying him (Rhod) after he tied himself up. So he tied up Alex instead and then just put a simple knot around himself.
Rhod only missed one trick here. It said get the ball in the hole, not hit the ball. If he’d built the hole around the ball on the starting position, it would have been zero hits.

@@dash4800 i think it depends on how the comedian does it. I remember when there's a task that get the people to eat an egg as fast as possible. Joe Wilkinson took his own sweet time cooking an egg and even had a salami spread. Laughed so hard on that one. But anyway, my main point is that, there are certain tasks where it is clear that there are easy ways to complete them. But the comedians chose not to take it because it will make it boring.

I don’t have diagnosed ADHD but I highly suspect I do have ADD. I’m really good at problem solving in unconventional ways. I remember doing maths at school, I would be able to work out how to answer an equation without being taught how to do it so I would never get taught how to do it but I would usually end up doing it in complex ways. I remember in year 8 one time I answered a question and the teacher marked it wrong because she had never seen someone do it that way so I explained how I did it and then she went and got the principal to look at it and decided I was correct even though my method was unconventional. Rhod would likely not be able to have a hole in zero like many comments say because that would be placing the hole around the ball rather than putting the ball in the hole.
I'm honestly surprised none of them just picked up the egg cup. Technically they would be carrying the egg cup, it just so happens that the ball is in the egg cup. Not technically carrying the ball.
