I think walking boosts the metabolism and its great for mental health too. I sort out all my problems when walking and it helps me think clearer.
Thanks for your comment, it really does all of the above.
It's because it's low intensity enough to not cause an increase in hunger. THe problem I have is my two dogs spend ages sniffing and inspecting everything, so I can't walk at much of a pace.
You know I hadn't thought of that but it makes perfect sense. I used to work out in my younger days or go for a run and was always ravenous afterwards but not with walking. Thanks for that,
