@@JP_Dividends it mostly applies to closed end funds(CEFs), but many CEFs allow you to drip your dividends at discount to market price. It usually is 95% market price drip/5% discount but a few like CLM/CRF drip at the nav price. So far from what I've seen only Fidelity, Merrill lynch, and trade actually participate in it, schwab use to but phased it out when it acquired ToS.
I guess I'm old fashioned: I get a little guilty pleasure from reinvesting them myself. Also, if I get dividends from 3 different stocks, I may just reinvest the whole in one in particular. I do like the estimate features. I wasn't a fan of their display changes, but these I like, as you have shown us JP. Thanks for the info!
M1 used to be free. Now it’s not, and while the fee is indeed small, it’s the idea of it: bait and switch. So I closed the 3 accounts I had there and moved them to a free brokerage. Sorry, not sorry
Thats fair cause them charging is lame I agree. If your account is over $10K then its free though but I agree them switching that was a stupid move to deter new investors.
This is great because it's allowing us to drip! Now I can confidently use this app when I'm in the US for future dividend investing 😁☺️
Agreed big time and nice!😎
What about the corporate drip plan that has discount drip?
What is this corporate drip plan you speak of?👀

Haha I get that. I also wasn’t a fan of their display changes but nice to see them add these new features. Thanks for the support!

Damn😂 I started out with Robinhood then switched to M1 early 2021 so I’m the opposite. Good luck though!
