    Based on your portfolio, you are less of a dividend investor and more of a growth investor.

      Yup, that's why I mention it in my videos that as someone who likes dividends, my yield is really low 😄 in 11 years when I want to live off of them, I'll either sell most of these and buy higher paying yield stocks or with with dividend increases I might be making exactly what I would be happy with. It will be fun to see how it turns out.

    With 300k you should be receiving Over $1,000 per month in Dividends. I didn't finish the video yet, but I would like to see your dividend yields It should be at least 3.5%. Still you've had some great growth in the Market. Congrats on that.
    Edit: I just saw what you are hold. Definitely a growth stock portfolio more than a dividend portfolio. Again Congrats on the gains

      I appreciate it man! I agree that it's more of a growth portfolio with the yield being so low. As mentioned in the video, in 11 years either I'll be earning really good dividends from those holdings or I'll sell them and buy holdings around 3%-4% yield. In the mean time, I still love getting those dividends no matter how small and reinvest them into the portfolio.

    Any stocks in your portfolio that are far below their 52 week highs? Are you planning on buying more of that company?

    Why your dividends so low with that big of an account?

    • @DenisTrufin
      @DenisTrufin  7 місяців тому +3

      It depends on the companies and their yields. Some of the companies I hold pay a low yield, while also increasing their dividend yearly in double digits. Since I'm not needing the dividends for another 11 years or so, I can wait for those yields to catch up with my dollar amount.

      @hulkman4004 Sure. Doesn't mean I don't love dividends and pay attention to dividend increases as I will be wanting those payouts to pay my bills in 11-12 years.

    You should definitely consider adding some income/dividend etf’s to your portfolio. SPYI and SCHD are my personal top recommendations but there are many others that provide solid dividends and still that solid growth you’re looking for.
    SCHD is probably a great pick for you. Hope this helps.

    I’m all in with all the suggested dividend stocks, I.e, “better, high yield, value, top, etc…);
    Cross my fingers that none will drag me down to 😮

    My portfolio generates 0.26$ an hour, but its below 80K. But I get what you are thinking, I also started investing in low dividend companies like V, AAPL, MSFT, SPGI, MCO and selling VZ , T and similar companies. And also started investing in accumulating ETF's. So probably if I get to 300K my dividends will not be super high. Especially that 30% of my portfolio is in bonds that are 5.3% and 5% but expire in 5 years. But yeah my target is 300k portfolio to live of dividends because I live in Romania and we have lower cost of living so at 300k I need to rebalance in high dividend companies.

      Hey! I'm Romanian :) (born in the US, but both my parents were born there). I lived there for a few months in 2016 and loved it, especially all the food I grew up eating. I like that you're looking at how much you're making per hour too. It's nice to know even when I'm asleep I'm making money. Yeah, these companies I hold aren't paying that high dividend yet, but with the growth opportunities, my yield on cost will be really nice over the years. I think I mentioned it in this video too, by the time I want to live off the dividend I could always sell low paying dividends for higher ones knowing I got good gains on the growth stocks. Congrats on having your portfolio just under 80k. Make sure to share when you hit 100k!
