Daisy, white rada or white lily (lat. Bellis perennis) is a perennial herbaceous ornamental and medicinal plant from the Asteraceae family. The plant is medicinal and contains saponins, bitter substances, essential oils and tannins. In Latin, bellis means beautiful, and perennis means eternal. It is represented all over the world, and it is most abundant in Europe. Daisy extracts are used in natural cosmetics for skin whitening and for the treatment of skin hyperpigmentation.
