Shoutout to Shawn and Cam Savela for helping me design this map, Shawn took my concept and hand drew all of the lettering, and Cam helped clean things up to get me SVGs. The map of Cape Cod is build from an oak butcherblock slab because I wanted this to be a thicc boy, so that's how I achieved it (also, butcherblocks are a super underutilized way to get a large amount of lumber for relatively not that much money). Jackman Works was started on Cape Cod, back when it used to be known as Jackman Carpentry, but I've always had the same Jackman Orange, so I color matched the map to that color to celebrate that. The letters are all cut from either reclaimed scrap wood or pallet wood, which is what gave me all the incredible colors, plus a lot of it came from supporters of mine through the years. Congrats to Bono on his new map!

"How's that sound? Doesn't matter, I'm doing what I want." could be your tagline. Always a treat to get a notification of a new Jackman video. Thanks!
That was the fastest paced and yet most comprehensive build video I've seen. You covered so much with some incredible editing and some wonderful humour! That was a fun build to watch. Thank you!
Thanks for the love! Always try to make my videos dense
I just realized I'm probably gonna need to buy another calendar!
I actually just ordered them last night! I will have a few extra though, so you can still get one.
Good 'ole Minwax...gotta love them. The Wood Whirler makes gorgeous wood turnings and finishes it all his projects with Minwax wood sealer.
Wow! At the end, I was like Achtung, Baby!
Jackman Orange, that's cool 👍.
The map looks great.
Greetings from Dennis - the hourglass community! Another great project.
Awesome!! I was wondering how many Capecoders would stumble upon this
I see what you did there with the beats and the montage. Very well done and a head above everyone else in the woodworking space
Thanks!! I try :)
Totally glad to see you back to posting frequently! You are honestly my favorite woodworker on here! Keep killing it my friend! Go USCG!
Good choice with the colour 😊. Great video Paul, really awesome editing every time... The map turned out great 👍👍
Thanks!! I was skeptical about the orange when I first put it on, but knew it would play well with the wood tones
I hope that Bono joke leaves you full of Pride. Any day with a Jack man video is a Beautiful Day!
I'll only be full of Pride enough when I force this video onto everyone's iTunes library haha
High Five from Brewster! Nicely done Sir.
Amazing 👏👏👏
Jackman doesn’t post for 3 months then post two videos in 5 days!? Man I love December on UA-cam!!!!
Whoa That is awsome!!!
hello from Crimea, (country Ukraine
) the videos are brilliant, the motage is super :D
great video thanks for sharing
Nice IT LOOKS LIKE A stretching ugly cat. LOVE IT. THANKS FOR YOU BEING YOU. And thanks for all your content.
I'm not a maker and never will be , but I really enjoy watching the creative process of a good many of you. Watching you create is always a joy. And give me so many ideas for 🤔 "maybe someday"
Makes me think of always sunny "fight milk!"
Congrats on your Netflix success, kid! I heard about it from R.H.'s Facebook. You guys did a sick job on the smoothie nutcracker. Just remember to never forget where you came from...
I'm just kidding. That was just my transition so that I could remind you that the Red Wings still suck, lmao.
I'm proud of you, dude. Give Mr. Jackman a big hand, everyone. Nice work \m/, B']
dang dude this is awesome! the map looks great, the color schemes are incredible, and your funny antics in between was really cool! nice job! first video i ever saw by you, and i subbed right away.
So good! Love the orange and the fonts look great!
So awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍. Genius humor and delivery. Your gleeful anticipation expression when delivering your punch line, just destroys me!! 🤣🤣🥰 Beautiful work of art. Very clever design. Wishing you a wonderful Holiday Season. Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family.
The editing is fantastic as ever!
Dude you always kill the edit!🤘🏻
At first I thought you called Mashpee, Mouthpee. he he he
As always, genius level of editing!!
Pretty boy. Hello from Ukraine.
Love your editing and music! So fun to watch and you learn something to boot.
Super innovative nice job man!
Your video skills and editing skills are on par with your woodworking skills. And yes jackman orange should be the color of choice. And don't forget to feed the mini-jackmen...lol
Yet another awesome video Paul. Thanks for all the inspiration and positivity you add to the world.
My pleasure!
2 videos in one week? Ambassador you are spoiling us
Working like Santa's elves over here! haha
You can it's the holiday season, because videos from Jackman are gifts🖤❤🖤
I like how you edit your videos and your crafts too!
Fun project to watch, and not just because I recently moved to Cape cod. Great video!
Great job, Paul. You're amazing (maybe a little mad, too).
Bill
Two jackman videos in a month? Damn this really is Christmas!
I'm going to blow your mind if I'm able to squeeze out a 3rd one!
Do you have a helical head on that Dewalt planer?
I do! Lasts so much longer
Funny. I was born on the cape, and now live near Washington, DC
6:29 when, after 5 years, you find a bad edit in a Jackman video. I knew this man couldn't be perfect
Map sander! :)
When I first read the title in my recommendations, I thought it said mall cap. Somehow from there I got cat. A durned if it don’t look like a cat a little bit.
Your Videos are always fun to watch! Cool projects delivered with cool effects in a cool way! Thank you for that! Happy holidays and all the best from Germany!!
Also, I love all of your videos.
فنان رائع جدا 💪👍💎
تحياتي من مصر 💪
Great film. Gorgeous project. Just stained a project, would have been nice to try this Minwax tint. Mahalo for sharing! : )
The water based stuff is super different from what I'm used to with regular stain, but it's really fun to use
@@JackmanWorks Will hv 2 buy me some.🙂
I love your videos! The editing, wacky music, timing, and the projects are so creative! I appreciate the time you put into them!
Great video, massive block, cost a ton of $$$ just for that alone !! At 00:36, I thought Right Jackman was going to point out Left Jackman had missed a bit!
Ever noticed how Cape Cod looks like Heraldic Lion used on UK flags?
That must have tested Easel Inlay Generator to the max, didn't pull your hair out try that?
Your videos are awesome! Please share purchase details for the sanding mop at 6:30
Another great video! When you use the CNC machine on something like this do the pieces, town names, get stuck? How do you get them out if they do?
That bit I used is a compression bit and actually jambs the chips into the cut and holds the pieces in place like you say. I just use my bandsaw to do some relief cuts and then shove them out with my hand. Still a tight fit, but it leaves a nice clean cut, so it's worth it
The biggest piece looks like a cat.
Excellent editing as always. I have no idea how you managed to make all the lettering fit each town so consistently. Well done man.
No joke, I had to go though every single letter first before I glued it in to make sure it fit and trim any fuzzies. Took some time, but it was totally worth it!
At the start, before you said it was a map, I thought it was a Chinese tiger 🐅
Reminds me of the logo for the 70s TV show the dating game.
Definitely retro!
The aesthetic of this one is so cool. Are you required to read all the town names in your head with a thick MA accent? I am, at least. I might need to try out that spray poly on my current project. Thanks for sharing!
The thicker the accent the better! Better not hear any Rs when you read it
Ah, The Cape, I spent many a summer bussing at my grandfather’s restaurant in Harwich Port.
Too cool! I'm glad so many people recognize it, I was afraid it might be too obscure
Oh it’s Cape Cod? I thought it was a tiger 🤗
👏👏👏👏
What is that super bright white wood you used for Wareham? Awesome video man, I love your work, the CNC machines really step the game up so much 😁
Maple! I was surprised it stuck out so much, but it must be a super flat sawn piece without many grain lines
@@JackmanWorks ah very cool, thanks for the reply 😎
I have been doing some glue-ups for my projects. Somehow, it always takes longer than your videos. Too bad I can't fast forward real life.
Must not be dropping them on the table hard enough ;)
Wait. So it isn't a cat?
what kind of sander was that you had in your drill?
did you say you were doing a tv show?
I am! It's still in the production phase, but we're hoping it'll be out around March.
I could not find the hidden tiny Jackman.
He's stuck in the accent wall still haha
I cannot for the life of me figure out what you’re saying at 6:29.
Think "Mop Sander" but if I had a bunch of chewed chips in my mouth
👍🏼👍🏼
Does the paint/stain colorist at Lowe's know she's being recorded? Lol... it is her side or back the whole time... did she consent to being in the video? 😁
The main problem, as I see it, is when you're done, you have a map of Cape Cod.
Through context clues I'm pretty sure this is a joke, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the punchline is.
@@JackmanWorks Ask Matt Grob. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, etc.
@@davidshaper5146 I wish I knew who that was 😂
@@JackmanWorks I think you met him at an engineering conference.
@@davidshaper5146 oh shit, I remember him!
I'm a minute 30 in and see the x-carve, wonder if the J-carve will make an apprearance...
Edit: at 2 minutes 30 in, round overs don't count...
Edit: maybe next time
It's still the J-carve, just with a bearing ;)
@@JackmanWorks J-Carve with training wheels! ;)
Nicely done. The orange made me cringe but seeing it completed... I love the look!
Honestly I had similar feelings when I first put it on, but I'm glad I stuck it through because it looks even better than it did in my head.

DidPapa he helped yesiiii
Op you said lowes im out
You’re still a child. How do you even know who Bono is? From your folks??
Bono is perpetually relevant :)
