Just used their Polycrylic gloss to finish a bowl. It kinda wasn’t enough. I wanted it to look like wet glass. I got more of a polished shine. Still good but what will give me that wet glass look? I saw epoxy finishing a bowl but dang if that don’t look super sloppy.
Super cool project - well done! No idea how hard that was to edit, but loving the "floating face catch".
Totally not worth my time for those little edits, but I'll always do it anyway haha
@@JackmanWorks I think I can speak for a ton of folks who thank you for those little nuggets!
From all the wodworking youtubers out there Jackman is definitly the best cutter
Came out killer man. The subtle blue makes it pop!
Thanks!! I that's what I thought too, just enough blue, but not too much
Excellent editing on the tablesaw working through the piles.
looks cool and a haven for dust bunneys lol thanks keep it comming
That's a big ash wavy panel! 😎
I cant decide if this project was shelf-ish or shell-fish. Hope you get waves of puns for this one.
it definitely wasn't sel-fish...
Don't ever change.
Love your far out ideas, editing, music, talent, patience, and what must be endless endurance! Ha ha! Rock on!
Love it. Love that I don't have to dust it either!
Best woodworking page. period. awesome project. exclamation mark.
So much room for activities in the new shop!
I feel spoiled!
You make wood working fun.
1. You're a dork. 2. You're adorable. 3. You're brilliant.
Pretty cool effect, Paul. Nice one!
Love both your guys' content
9:40 big smile moment. Clever editing.
Nice project.......Well done.
Happy dusting.
This wall is perfect dust collector
Looks great, Paul. Nicely done.
Great film. Wall art! Excellent. That Minwax stain is cool. Mahalo for sharing! : ) 🐒
I dont know which is more awesome..er. your woodworking skills, or your video editing!
Either way, you are pretty freakin awesome! Fan for life.
thank you for putting so much time and effort into your projects but also your editing.
This man has a gift he inspired me to learn how to become a Carpenter
I don't know what is better: your work or the video's special effects. kkkkk
Can we take a moment to appreciate his wood working and video editing skills!!!
Well done, I bet that would make a good sound defuser!
Honestly it probably did cut down on the echo because the stairwell is such a massive empty space, but I didn't even think to notice.
Nice job for a saturday afternoon. No really, a very creative masterpiece
Definitely a beautiful word...nice editing....happy holidays
Dude the production values here are incredible! Great project too.
Lovin the shelves😉😉!!
Whoa! I actually really like that, not completely covering up the grain is going to definitely open up design options!
For sure! And just enough color without being obnoxious, I'm thrilled with it
Love the peak into the strange corners of your mind! Keep up the good work! HNY!
The thing I love about your videos (for the most part) is these are projects that most folks can do. I don’t have an X Carve but some persistent jig sawing and finishing could get me there. Love the look of the finish too. I wasn’t sold on the wax but the finished product speaks for it self. Thanks for the great content and keep them coming! Semper Paratus.
That's what I hope! And even if they're a higher difficulty level I try to show every single step since there's useful tricks in all the steps that are good for simpler projects too. I honestly wasn't sure about the wax at first, but once I saw it buffed out on the test pieces, that chanced my mind (I was originally going to do a varnish on top)
Lots of goodies in this one but the uncrustable was my favorite.
I can't be the only one who feels like I'm laying out a table cloth every time I put out those blue mats haha
That is an awesome look. Definitely a lot of work put in but in my opinion well worth the effort. I can see doing an entire wall with this like the tv wall or something. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Nice dust collector!! )
The editing alone deserves way more likes. Good times.
Looks great! That's going to be a pain to dust haha
Cool project, dude. And great video editing effects - really mesmerising and impressive!
Amazing job, love the colors and the waves.
Nice SeasickShelves! And a Happy New Pallet!
The amount of work you put in rhese projects is remarkable😮 I'm building my own little amateur workshop right now, and i don't think i can have so much dedication on a project🤔😔
It takes time! I've been doing this since I was a teenager, the tool and skill acquisition takes what seems like forever, but looking back you won't even notice it.
Altogether it makes for an interesting texture. Really like the idea of this tintable stains, will need to investigate that for a future project. Excellent video as usual. Digging for gold with the giant hand cracked me up. Gotta love the juvenile humor. 😂 Thanks for sharing!
The projects are great but just add to that the excellent work on the editing! Awesome
You never disappoint....thanks!
Almost down voted when you said buy lumber, but then you revealed the pallet in the back of the van-truck. You saved yourself Jackman!
My eyebrows actually went up when Paul said, "I had to buy lumber."
My head got smaller as soon as I swiped my credit card
@@JackmanWorks Bank account too. Wood ain't cheap these days.
This looks so cool! Love it!
loved Mr. Peltons comment. real world right there. hahaha
I saw it as sea (the background colour) with waves and a lovely nod to Mrs J serving in the Coastguard
mad skills...sick sense of humor...fantastic
Those wavy shelves are breathtakingly beautiful!!! Wow, I love them so much. The coloring is amazing. You are so inspiring. You are so talented in so many ways! So glad you will be making more projects and sharing them with us in the future. I need to try those new Minwax stains! Peace and Good Fortune and Good Health to you and your family. Happy New Year!!
Thank you and happy new year!!
You put a lot of work into your video editing. Thank you it was fun to watch.
smiles and rainbows, now even I can remember that, thanks Paul.
Love your wavy builds! Now I want one in my house too. Looks great
I have one of these odd walls going down to my finished basement. Love the idea and execution. Well done.
holy molly
the true nightmare for dust cleaning :D
well done, mate. always watching with pleasure.
Man I enjoy your videos so much. You are such a talented filmmaker. Oh yeah, and your woodworking rocks, too.
it looks great. I see you're making good use of those big hands
We have different definitions of "good" hahaha
Great editing as usual.....oh and the woodwork is awesome!😎
Awesome! Just got myself the island water blue transparent stain to make my son a Minecraft sword.
That wavy wall has a lot of character, made by a character 👍 great work as always
nice job, thanks for sharing cheers
Great looking, nice for those oddball spots in staircase 's.
One thing, who's going to dust them.
I feel like most houses I've seen have that super awkward tall wall that never does anything and it's always bugged me for some reason haha. Dusting though, once it gets too dusty we'll just sell the house.
Well, I respect both of you!!!
Love your editing Paul, oh yea nice shelves too.
Totally dig it, goes perfect with that sailing ship painting right underneath it.
I'm liking the color! I laughed at "witchcraft". Crazy good editing as always!
I really like your editing style, it adds so much to the video!
Dude, you picked your nose AND flipped us off at the same time! Jackman, you little devil you! Love it!
You had to WHAT? Buy lumber? Oh no. I'm going to curl up in a corner while back and forth and cry. Hahaha. Sometimes you gotta do it. Thank you sir. That looks beautiful.
I still feel guilty 😂
Dude you killed it, I like it great job as always
Beautiful. One of you best projects and most fun to watch videos yet. Happy New Year.
This was a great job. I would not have had the nads to do it but you made it look really nice
You're my favorite maker from all UA-cam. You're so creative, and your work so amazing!
I'm sorry. I will steal lots of your ideas.
Cheers from France.
Steal away! :)
man i love this thing
I love your editting ..
Love the project..........will mean a lot of dusting!
This was awesome! Super cool idea and funny 😆
Awesome build! Watch the whole video with my 10 month old son and he was laughing the whole time. Thanks for entertaining and for the great content!
Awesome project! I'm gonna have to do this 😁
Interesting....good video. Thanks for sharing.
great Design! congrats for making the entire process seam smooth and easy.. for a PRO.. :)
I love it!!
Been in the trade for 44 years I at times have to scratch my head. That being said I have learned a few things and find you damn entertaining, keep it up 👍
Switch shampoos.
just found your youtube a few days ago and i love your vids. projects cool but i love the doubles you do with your editing nicely done
I found him just a few short months ago and I'm about two videos from watching each and every single one, @jackman works is truly a talented genius. In my humble opinion of course. Have a good one Gregory :D
Jack de Man is back!
Sweet beautifully done
Never Freehand on the tablesaw.... says the guy who does own a bandsaw. Hmmm. 😁
I think a built in ships ladder in the wall would make accessing the knickknacks a bit easier.
The colours did turn out quite nice.
haha sometimes the table saw is the only way, that 1/4" plywood is just too splintery on the bandsaw for some reason. I was trying to figure out how to add a ladder to that wall though! Going to have to get creative
@@JackmanWorks chain hoist... 🤔
Very unique accent for the house~! I've used Minwax products for years, so I'll have to check these out. Love your stuff, bro~!
Man... the video originality is on point :D Jackman deserves way more fans and attenion. Keep i up sir. Shelf looks amazing and happy new year!
Very nice piece of art 👌
Quem deve adora esse móvel e a esposa pra tirar o pó na hora da faxina. rsrsrs belo trabalho.
as always, a positive and excellent video. Good luck man in 2021
Next build needs to be a giant duster to keep those shelves clean!
Always a cool Jackman video that I can learn things from. And a bonus today is how to moonwalk past the table saw! Thanks man
!
Good Morning and Happy New Year! As a woodworker myself I enjoy watching your videos. In the 1000 Pencil video you were wearing a Syracuse sweatshirt. That is my home town, although I now live in Williamsburg., VA. Good luck to you. Keep up the good work. Jeff Smith
Buying wood......going to the "Dark Side!!" Nice!! DD
Great job Mr. Jackman. Welcome back we missed ya.
Greetings from Germany, Thanks for your great and funny videos this year. Happy new year 2021👍👍👍🤗
