I was in Belgium for a few months back in 1997.. They had vending machines for beer, but they weren't fridgerated. I had beer for breakfast served in huge glasses by the hotel I stayed in. It was amazing!!!! There beer there is definitely better than most places I have been. But my favorite is Desperados and I cannot get it here in the states. They call those Foster's can's Oil Cans. Coors light is super weak. Bells Hopslam is super yummy and it's 11% alcohol. There is a Dutch beer called Grolsch, it's one of the oldest and best made beers you have to try it.
Ha ha As a wino, all I was thinking watching this is I would have been checking the alcohol percentage of every can. I was able to convert my husband from beer to wine over time by showing him Chardonnay is 17% and telling him it's more bang for your buck and a lot less peeing. Speaking of bang for your buck, how do we get Yoel Everclear? I'm in Calif. Do they sell it at liquor stores?
I feel the urge to defend Mexico because my favorite beer is from there. Corona is ok but Modelo is better and Victoria is my favorite! Thank you for the video! Also, Coors Light tastes like someone drank a good beer then peed it into the Coors bottle.
love how enthusiastic Yoel is about all this beer, though I personally like Duval and love that style, but prefer Piraat from that brewery. Have him try some of the best US craft breweries like Seven Sons in NJ (their Rye Porter is amazing), Southern Tier from NY (their winter beer is their best), Boulevard Brewery (any of them, but Barrel Quad if I had to pick one )from KC, Green Flash Palate Wrecker from Cali, and New Belgium Trippel from NC. If you do one again, be sure to include ambers, IPA's, stouts, and ones with fruit added like Blue Moon. Portland is worth a trip. You can also order several small glasses at once at a restaurant (it's called a "flight"). My favorite is Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.

From dark sweet caramelly beers over fresh pilsner beers to bitter hopped beers (like Duvel) to sauer style beers like Gueuze Boon to cherry sweet-fresh beers like Belle Vue Kriek to real sauer beer like Rodenbach (Flemish red ale)
@@YoelAndMari You dumped the Duvel? That’s alcohol abuse! Seriously though, Duvel is a strong taste; if you drink mostly golden lagers like Miller or Coors, Duvel can be like a slap in the face (I love it; order it every time at my favorite local pub). For a more benign Belgian beer, I’d recommend Stella Artois.

I laughed when I saw the Foster's! There is a video from Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias about a visit to Australia where he orders a Fosters and the bartender says something like "well sure, if you like to drink piss!" The commercials lied to us, apparently. Fosters ISN'T Australian for beer. I suspect people will object to the choice of Sapporo to represent Japan and Corona to represent Mexico. 😝🤣
Dont knock "cheap beer" lol. Its cheap because its domestic. Go to Amsterdam and order a coors light and pay what we do for imported. Also you never tried the greatest American beer Yuengling!
Corona deserves a 10!! With a lime, on the beach, it's the perfect beer for sunshine drinking. Mari, "you like cheap beer" made me crack up - I say that to my husband all the time!
Yoel needs to go to a classic car show and shine to see all those old cars restored with original engines and interiors. I have been to Cuba a couple times and spoken with the old car drivers with various engines and interiors that they could find.
The small custom breweries in Colorado decades ago had a saying: "What do Coors Light and making love in a canoe have in common? They are both f***ing close to water!" 🤣 My favorite beer is Negra Modelo from Mexico, a dark one full of rich flavor. And with Corona, many people squeeze a lime and push it inside the bottle. In California, they are usually served with a slice of lime, verde limon, if I wrote that correctly. I enjoy your videos!
My first exposure to anything like Total Wine (or BevMo) was the few months I worked in Boston. I don’t drink a whole lot in the first place, but it was fun to pick out a new beer to try on a night off… I mean, I was a COVID nurse in a town where I knew no one, and in June 2020 everything else was closed so one of my main forms of entertainment was trying new local food and drink! I’m from Grand Rapids, MI which used to be “Beer City, USA.” You can find some of our smaller breweries at Total Wine, but selection varies. Of the ones I think you can almost always find, I highly recommend Bell’s Oberon-it’s a nice summer beer with a lot of flavor that I feel like almost everyone likes. Make sure it’s ice cold and you add an orange slice! 😊 I’m not a massive fan of Founder’s (though it’s our most known brewery), but I do appreciate their All Day IPA, KBS, and Rubaeus (which is a fruity, sweet, raspberry-flavored beer).
You should try to find an English brand of beer called SAM SMITH and get the Lager ,it may be the best one I had in the Lager category ..LOWNBRAU a German Bier is great...... Try another American Beer BLUE MOON ,it was a small craft brew beer until Miller bought it .. SAM ADAMS has good ones also..
Try these too: 1. Guiness Blonde 2. Guinness Stout 3. Yuengling lager 4. Michelob Amber Bach 5. Blue Moon 6. Wittekerke 7. Young’s Chocolate Stout 8. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale Note: I did NOT rank them in order of my own personal favorites
I am so glad you guys went to a Total Wine & Spirits. They have some good Sake (Plum wine) and my Lady bought her father the usual Glenlivet for Christmas, but it was aged in bourbon cask. It was a hit. If you two like your liquor or cigars, they have a ton of each.
Also spent a lot of time in Germany in my job and they have what is called "A 7 minute beer." When you order a draft beer, you have to wait 7 minutes for the foam, or head as it is also called, to go down. So you should order a second beer before you finish the first!
I absolutely love your videos!!! Tengo un primo que llego de Cuba hace un mes and I keep watching your videos with him. He loves it almost as much as I do. You guys are so awesome!! Que dios le bendiga a los dos!! Keep up the awesome work!! #CubaLibre

I hate to tell you that Fosters is not sold or even made in Australia anymore. Its so bad Australians don't or won't drink it.
I had to laugh when you sail he liked cheap beer.. Memories of my dad was that he always drank the cheapest beer he could find. He said he liked it better.. but maybe it was just having a couple of beers without breaking the bank.
Where was the leinnys (leinenkugal) from WI!!!
Should we do a beer from every state?! 😂
@@YoelAndMari Hell do 3 beers from every state. Wait, you would need spread sheets for ranking.😬 Never mind.
@@YoelAndMari Yes!. Maybe even 2 or 3 from each. So many choices

I was thinking man Yoels brain is gonna melt when he sees a beer aisle and man that look in his eyes makes the world better hahahah. To your continued health and happiness guys!!
Love this video guys. You guys should check out Ling and Lamb and their channel. They are documenting their journey here as well from Nigeria. (Not giving it all away) You guys have a lot in common. Love yall.
Goodness, Coors Light, eh? Yoel, I’m shook and I’m American that loves this country but Coors Light? Okay.
I think another video with more international beers and maybe a Craft American beer like Belching Beaver’s Mexican Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout (I’m sorry, I forgot Mari doesn’t like PB) or better yet, something German, like a Hefeweizen and maybe Japan’s Kirin Ichiban. Brazil has a great beer called Xingu Black beer.
Just so you know, I’m not a beer drinker (I drink Tequila & Whisky) but my husband is and he likes my choices.
Have fun!! I really enjoyed this video. 👍🏼
You need to try Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout! Imported from Yorkshire, England!
Ooooooooooh will do. Sounds yummy
👍👍😋😋😋😋🎯
Any Samuel Smith beer is Good!!!
@@timbillings6884 yum!
@@elteescat 👍👍
So happy you guys are here, welcome.
You two need some Canadian beer in your life: Alexander Keiths Pale Ale, Kokanee Lager, Moosehead Lager, Sleeman’s Honey Brown Ale.
Hoser!
It’s pretty obvious that you don’t know the difference between beer and snake piss.
I have just discovered your channel and I love it not only because of the first time reaction but I love that you give me information on Cuba! Sending love to you and yours from Orlando Florida I am so happy I found your channel subscribing now!
My man. Coors Lt is a great American beer. Just remember in other countries it is definitely not just a "cheap beer". Lol
Would love to see a States version with like Shiner, Sam Adams, ane Yuengling ect. Also try some Irish stouts and other dark beers. Get on that motor oil. Keep it up y'all.
Total Wine is incredible. I love beer. From everywhere! THIS is my favorite....I say that every episode.
Corona deserves a 10!! With a lime, on the beach, it's the perfect beer for sunshine drinking. Mari, "you like cheap beer" made me crack up - I say that to my husband all the time!
If you like total wine. BevMo is even better for international deletion!!
Love the video. Lot's of fun !!!
Yoel needs to go to a classic car show and shine to see all those old cars restored with original engines and interiors. I have been to Cuba a couple times and spoken with the old car drivers with various engines and interiors that they could find.
Never left a comment before but this was fantastically funny. Loved it. 😍
Try these too:
1. Guiness Blonde
2. Guinness Stout
3. Yuengling lager
4. Michelob Amber Bach
5. Blue Moon
6. Wittekerke
7. Young’s Chocolate Stout
8. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
Note: I did NOT rank them in order of my own personal favorites
I'm a little disappointed canadian beer didn't make it in the taste test. Maybe next time.
Yoel gave Coors Light a 9, the absolute madman!!!!!!!!!
When you put Cores Light in the fridge, the mountain peaks turn from blue to white when it's good enough to drink.
Have either of you ever been to a drag race? Lots of fast cars!
Also spent a lot of time in Germany in my job and they have what is called "A 7 minute beer." When you order a draft beer, you have to wait 7 minutes for the foam, or head as it is also called, to go down. So you should order a second beer before you finish the first!
this was great! more like it please! i love your channel!
Love your smiles!
please do this video again but with all the beers ice cold, it really brings out the flavor in them
I absolutely love your videos!!! Tengo un primo que llego de Cuba hace un mes and I keep watching your videos with him. He loves it almost as much as I do. You guys are so awesome!! Que dios le bendiga a los dos!! Keep up the awesome work!! #CubaLibre
We called Fosters Oil Cans. Heineken or Fosters are my favorites 🍺🍺🍺
Czech beer is the best! IMO. Pilsner urquell is a good popular one.
Corona needs the lime slice! I don’t often drink beer, but summertime, a corona with a slice of lime wedges in the neck, and a pizza - heaven.
Love it! I’ll trade him for a progressive any day! He fits right in
This is a fun idea! Now I might have to try this myself.
Love your videos I just watched like twenty. It’s nice to get the perspective!!!
Do a small local craft brewery tour! Have Yoel talk with the owner about owning and operating a small business in America. Plus try more beers! I want to see Yoel's face when he drinks an IPA!
Love you guys!!! So fun
Australians don't drink k Foster's. They only export it.
Shiner Beer from Texas!
I'm of Bavarian decent. I loved Bavarian biers. They have almost an orange and cloves taste. Ayeinger is my favorite. Well Was, I quit drinking in January because I had a problem. I've been clean and sober since.
Yoel just likes simple beers, nothing wrong with that. A cold Coors beer is nice on a hot day.
you need to visit the shiner brewery in shiner Texas or st arnold brewery in houston.
Mary mi esposo se casó con la Coors
Light también . Le encanta. Creo que es porque se le parece a una que había en Cuba antes.
Lol, as I drink a Coors Light. Peace, Love! Beer is a religion to some. There were many styles you didn't try. I think you should do this again for as long as it takes! Peace, Love Some More!!!
That was fun and a great idea. I'd have to do it aline as my wife drinks wine and I drink beer. Take him to a Brewery. IPAs are my favorite but there's beer of every sort. Great video and good times. Yay.
Two Drunk Cubans! LOL! This video reminds me of my family in Miami! Keep up the Great Videos!
Tell Yoel ty for teaching me Spanish. I learned by watching him through your videos. I'm not one of those jerks that demand you speak English. I'm an intelligent person who would rather learn your language.
I'm with Yoel Coors Light and Corona are two of my favorite beers
You guys live on another planet 😂
I work for a Budweiser distributor in Orlando and my brother worked the total wine on his route. He told me they had a beer that cost $30 for a 4pack of some exclusive and limited beer. 🤷🏻♂️
We have a local store in Chgo called Binny's. That got beers & liquor from around the world + cigars. I go there & get a simple bottle of rum & a case of Special Export or Miller's. Sometimes you just wanna a spirit that's easy on the pocket book & easy going down...
Rename this Yoel and Mari get drunk. You should have had some pretzels between the beers. Love it.
Red Hook ESB, Miller High Life, Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA (Voodoo best for getting really drunk) all ice-cold in a bottle. It will take you guys a lifetime to taste test all the beers in the world, there are over 350 breweries here in Washington state alone, and they all have more than one type of beer. It's a good thing that you have gotten started !!!
“We Drunk” 😂😂😂
Foster's Lager. Billed as a "uniquely Australian beer" by corporate parent SABMiller, Foster's has been brewed in Texas for years. British pub patrons may also be surprised to know that the Foster's on tap there is made in Manchester, England, not Down Under.
