I grew up in Girl Scouts. We got together once a week after school and did things together, learning life skills. Once a year we sold the cookies, which everyone bought because they only were available once a year. It taught us about entrepreneurship and marketing and sales techniques. We took orders and delivered our cookies. The money raised, allowed our troop (group) to go camping, travel, etc. When I had a daughter, I started a Girl Scout troop in my neighborhood. I had 25 little girls age 5 to 12 for 6 years. Lots of fun!
