Akropovic and lamonster is the right combo for my F3-S. Sounds awesome, it's loud and it crackles at shifts. Thanks for the video. Very helpful.

I have a 1330 RT with a custom made pipe like lemosters running the Same standard exhaust as You F3 this mod changes the RT from sounding like a sawing machine to a Motorbike ... Would love to hear the new Akrapovic for real as a camera can only do so much .

Hi buddy. Always when the lamonster pipe is ON, there is Big city QQ buffle in there. Just FYI, back in the day, lamonster was using those, not his own. Have a great day, martin

i want more deep sound i am not sure which one should i buy ? two brothers or akrapovic. i definitely dont want too loud. and what is lamonster pipe on ? should i buy it with exhaust for this sound ?
Hi Oz. Akrapovic with catalyst will not make much difference. So therefore lamonster pipe basically its just pipe and it does not have any Db killer or cat. It make the bike much louder. With akrapovic in combination its .. well noisy :) try to search on FB for guy named Joseph Golden and he has video with RLS bypass and assasin end pipe. Its diff.more deep sound i think that my combination. M.
the 3 cylinder engines don't have a deep tone like the 990 twin engines did.

Hi Kevin, i love the akra, but its too much money for it and the quality is not there :((( i would go for RLS, that is what i have.. just go on my youtube channel or to martinthevlogger.com and i have many videos about various combinations and sounds

Martin, I'm running the 1330 Lamonster pipe now for two years on my F3-S, but the risk is too great to be stopped by the German polizei, so I'm replacing the OEM exhaust with the new Akrapovic Sinister, and putting the CAT back on to make it all legal. I know I will loose the good sound, and especially the "bubbling" of the straight pipe is super. My question, are there DB killers (baffels) in the new Sinister that can be removed? What is the sound like then? Cheers, BavarianAmi
Hi Rick, i know the rules in Western Europe. I have refused to go to Austria because of these regulations and because of smart gadgets that Police has. :) Removing Lamonster and by replacing the stock to Akrapovic you will not get legal at all. (this one, that I do have, not the older one - there I am not sure) There are no DB killers, what I have is the baffler in Lamonster pipe for back pressure, but you know its a diff. thing. Akrapovic dont have road legal certificate for Europe, only for US. Its also quite hard to buy it at dealer in EU, because they kind of refuse to deliver it here. Sound wise, there is not much of a change when running cat + stock or Akrapovic. I would not probably buy it and risk just a tiny difference in sound for potential trouble with Police. Martin, the Akrapovic that I got from Canada came with papers, including the TUV approval from southern Germany. I still have it, and the DB killers have been removed. It was on my STL. Hope that the Sinister comes with the same papers! 8-} Rick
Rick, if you will go for this one -> that I have, it has certificate only for US. I can send you photo of the certificate that I have received. Thanks for the great test! I have Akrapovic Straight Shot on my F3 and I am satisfied with the sound. I was considering to try the Lamonster pipe, but I do not want to lose the torque to have louder sound. I was wandering how much torque the F3 loses when using Lamonster pipe (together with baffle) with Akrapovic exhaust? Is it minor torque loss ? Do you also use K&N air filter as well?
Hi Allan, as I do reply all the time, and as also Lamonster told me. It has not been measured and it is only my personal feeling about the lost torque. But I do notice it, and the main diff. is in lower RPM, then at higher once, I think its not so evident, maybe I have gained something. I dont know how much it is in real numbers because its very hard to put spyder on DINO, due to problem, that when front wheels are not rotating, NANNY shuts the bike power down. Yes I do use K&N, there is no diff. I guess in power or so.. its just the feeling that I do have K&N :)))) have an awesome day, Martin

Hi Buddy... Zero, Nada, NULL... i dont think you will see any increase as the ECU will learn and will adapt to new conditions. the only thing you do is a change of sound. You need to have Cat delete done and run ECU upgrade in order to play around horses :(((( same goes for K&N Air filter.. :( its jsut feeling for ppl, but i doubt there is any increase... Its very hard to measure these things on DYNO, so this is my pure feeling I am saying..
@@MartinTheVlogger Thanks much. I got a kn air filter installed a few years back. My model has the old body style so it's a real bear to work on. I always have had the dealer do my work and I don't know if they would do the ecu upgrade. Have you done those things too?
@@nicholaswilkie2638 Yes I have ECU upgrade.. I think your bike is 998 engine right>? Not sure,,, i think they dont do pedal commander for those engines, but i think it is the best "performance"upgrade you can do... exhaust for me is about sound... have an awesome day, Martin

Hi there. Lamonster dont have db killer neither this akrapovic exhaust. Lamonster has only baffler and i have the big city QQ i yhink was the name. Lamonster has replaced it these days with his own. But no db killer!!!

I have a question ..I`m running the la monster pipe WITH the new soda can baffle AND the akrapovic sinister exhaust like yours ...are you having any problems with your f-3 fuel to air ratio ...as in running too lean?
I am not sure if it is fuel to air, or it is lack of back pressure or too rich fuel. But there is definitely decrease of power a bit in low revs. What I will do during the winter break, is to ship the ECU to Canada to one verified source. One guy wrote me on my mail that he did it, and he is happy. Now i am ready to re-write to him, if the bike did survive the change and if it is still as good as it was at the beginning. I contacted the guy in Canada too..he stated that for best results is to run the catalytic converter with the Akrapovic before upgrading the ECU..so I removed the la monster pipe and re-installed my converter..he also stated that in the spring of this year 2018 he will have better programming for the F-3...and to call him back around the end of April to the beginning of may...the Canada spring thaw...that`s when I`m doing mine...so I`m waiting till then....BTW... right after re-installing the catalytic converter...I noticed the larger gain on bottom end torque right away...so there is a difference between to the two.
please do a video showing the differences when the ecu gets back...I`m sure quite a few people including me would like to see that ...especially the top end speed..thanks

Hi, I just installed the sinister akropovic exhaust. Honestly I am disappointed with the sound. For such an expensive Exhuast, with VERY little difference from factory sound.
Will try with lamonstrr pipe. Anything else you recommend? K&n filter? A performance chip?
Hi Fahad, yes you are right,, Exhaust by itself do not create much difference. If you want to have loud exhaust, then 2 brother would be better call, but i dont like the look. I do run also Lamonster pipe and its pretty loud. I would say on the edge for me. I do have K&N air filter but i think it does nothing.. i have mounted it because of my personal better feeling :) I have new ECU - it just came back last week and hopefully today i will mount it back to bike. It has a new map and i should really feel it. i will also make a video about it. my best tip probably for upgrade is bajaron swaybar and upgrade for rear and front shocks. have an awesome day, martin

Hello there. Yes, Lamonster pipe is illegal, because you are basically getting rid of catalysator. So the emissions are problem and also the loudness is also a trouble - number of decibels. In some countries like DE, AT cops do have tools to measure those things right when they do stop you. In respect to Akrapovic, it does not have the EU license, or what ever is the procedure called. It just not fulfilling the EU norms again in respect to loudness and in respect to CO2 emissions. Therefore it is only racetrack legal, here.... please if you are a cop around here, dont stop me :)))))

@@elenahristova743 hi Elena, there is no silencer in Lamonster pipe, its just a pipe. Also there is no silencer in the Akrapovic exhauste i do have.

I have lamonster pipe with stock exhaust. I'd like the voodoo pipes, I think the look cool. but these just may be too annoying to everyone else, including my wife

Great video! Will I keep the torque in my F3 engine if I switch to Akrapovic only? Or will it reduce over all performance?
Hi, thank you for comment. When i have installed only Akrapovic - and I was rYding with it longer then just for this video purposes, I have had a feeling the torque was not influence in negative way. I think it was maybe even better in higher revs than with standard exhaust. Please one note, the torque thing is not measured, its just my own personal feeling, even i think i am right :)))) Martin

Dcat or akrapovic??? In general, for RTS there is def. 2brothers crazy exhaust, but i think neither of these will fit without a custom config 🤔🤔🤔

Have a look at RLS Exhaust - goodle ot please and choose cathegory Can-Am. I am super happy about RLS, and if you look at my new bideos you will see some other stuff by them. This exhaust is not avaliable for Ryker, olus i would not buy it again as it is 1100USD ....

Jason, with Lamonster it really sounds good and loud enough for me. I personally dont like the look of Two Brother, just because the exhaust is in round shape, and everything else on the bike is more like a cubic style. But again, it all about personal preferences. Have an awesome day, Martin
Lamonster pipe on = drunk fly sound yuk. I prefer BASS to treble any day. So in summing up...ditch that Lamonster pipe as all it does is add treble...
