I remember my late mum took me and a school friend to see the lion king at the cinema I was a teenager this film still makes me cry because of the memories watching it at the cinema with my mum and friend.
I know, right! My memory may not be super clear but, I BELIEVE ''Lion King'' was my first official Disney animated film to watch. I watched it on VHS back in '94. I was an innocent little 4-year-old! :]
Looking at some of the movies now you realize as a kid at that age of time what a beautiful piece is the lion king and what a unimaginable impact it had in the world it is the classics of classic surpassing boundaries what can be said more
Now, that's what I call a real, real talented singer/musician. I love your musics and the lyrics, but you know what: I guess that's why they call it the blues. (You said that)✌️👍.
I listened to you with Crocodile Rock while my sister swung me across a raging creek in an inner city park of Iowa City (called Ralston Creek), where my 13yr senior sister tossed me to her friends. A Hebrew, and a daughter of the catholic caught me...raised as a Methodists from my mother's parents I met with my sister's friends in a tent, and during a turental down pour. The adults in the group (18-20yrs old) had to make some life save decisions to jump creeks in order to prevent being swept away by the 3 days of turental ran. Still! Sir Elton I remember you from my statement about all of the Senators, and Representatives aligning their moral compass to True North, and stop getting kick backs from lobbyists, or loosing their spins to self preservation...absolute power is blind to the absolute 💯.... I will miss you when the tides stall.... Cheers!! For the memories Brother! It G, from Iowa...desendant of John Adams, love yourself, and compassion will come naturally! ♥️ Freedom of expression
I guess we'll never know why Jason Raize (the original adult Simba) killed himself, of course there are rumors, one of them is that he was rejected by his family for being gay. Another rumor I've read is that he was sick with cancer, another rumor I've read according to Wikipedia is that he didn't know what to do next with his career, another rumor is that he was killed by the government. I don't know if any of those are true. Regardless of all this, he was an amazing actor, singer, and dancer. I hope you are at peace. Rest in peace 🕊️ Jason Raize. Still remembered, never forgotten.
My attempt inserting myself into the woke mindset: ABC is absolved from racism because the white man playing the song for a "black production" is homosexual. Me going back to reality: I love Elton John's blue glasses. He's a cool person.
I think you’re reading too much into the fact that The Lion King musical was written by two white Englishmen. It’s about animals. It’s certainly true that the recent film remake is extraordinarily bizarre as the producers insisted the African animals should be voiced by black people because… Africa but the original and far superior presentation wasn’t.
He made “drugs and turd-tamping, an every day thing”, RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA. “fake news & politicians”, just love those rump-rangers. (With all due “respect”.)
I cant believe his voice sounds still so good for this song. Amazing.
wonderful performance of a fantastic song he hasn’t even played live on tour in several years. This is simply incredible! ❤️

Oh god is this him
:)
Huh, I see LeBron got a groin injury.
Elton is a living legend. But, this wasn't one of his best live performances. So sad to watch.
Are you kidding?
@@GavinLiamLogan Nope
The performance is full of mistakes (he does not play this song frequently), but the voice is not bad after almost 30 years.
Wtf you talking about you def lol this is a great performance you idiot
Well he is like 80 ofcourse hes not as good

my attempt inserting myself into the woke mindset : sh*t this is Elton John who composed the songs of the Lion King
Woke simply means becoming aware of social injustices.
