No , I knew Frazier won in the 4th, on A TKO very bad eye injury, Joe scored a devistating left hook over Chuvalo's left eye. But who knows what would have happened. Im a Frazier guy, but Chuvalo was a very tough guy. Thew both were small , but
Joe was a little faster and hit very well for a smallish heavyweight. He was relentless, and trained harder than most all the heavyweights of his time. Ran close to 500 miles prparing for Frazier Ali 1, Joe was a true Champ, didnt duck anyone.

I think he's completely right. Guys like Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Lyle, Shavers, and of course Ali - they fought to win. Most fighters today - including the Klitschkos - fight with a risk-averse style. They fight not to lose.
Chuvalo probably had the hardest chin in boxing history.

Joe was really tough guy, always givving up size and weight, reach etc. He had the heart of a lion, fearless in the ring, as so many guys in the 60's. Chuvalo too, Real wariors.

I've never seen Vitali Klitschko do anything but sticking out that jab, keeping his opponent at distance and then crossing, Sometimes it is almost as if he has only one arm. I don't see what he could do against a skilled pressure fighter. Maybe he'd have an answer but we'll never know, because there isn't any around. I haven't seen a boxer who is able to fight on the inside in years.

Tyson lost to guys who were bigger than him (Holyfield, Lewis, Douglas)... no matter how hard he hit! Foreman never faced an opponent bigger than him - he was the monster back in the day. It's all conjecture anyhow. It's always the same old anyhow... past greats can always beat current greats - RIGHT! Everything about current champs today is better.

Weight classes do exist in boxing and MMA for a reason. Guaranteed, if Chuvalo fought in this era he'd cut to cruiserweight to be competitive! He'd be too small! No. George wouldn't be a cruiserweight because there's no money there. Chuvalo would have gained weight and fought at 220, 225 rather than fight at 200-215, in order to compete better against the bigger guys.
Tyson is short in size, but he had speed and knockout power. In his peak years 1985-1989, he slipped the other fighter's first punch and countered with his left or right very effectively. The other guy quickly knew that if he threw a punch, then he was going to get punched back, immediately. And *HARDER* .
