You've got to love George Chuvalo! All those lectures on drug abuse MUST have made a difference. In fact, no one will ever know just how many young people this great man has favourably influenced (read as 'saved their lives'). In a sporting sense George epitomised the old saying "modesty in victory, courage in defeat". The man has class, Canada...be proud of him! (by the way, I'm an Aussie).

Chuvalo is one of the greatest gatekeepers of all time, boxing fans should respect those fighters and tough journey men so the can appreciate the elite more, boxing fans dont respect their fighters like other sports do and im glad u respect him. BTW the best journemen ever is Emmanuel Agustus

George is a Canadian great! I met him one time. Just me and him in a lobby in Toronto and I became absolutely tongue-tied. He must of thought that i was a complete idiot or something but we did shake hands. Hard to believe that he is 73 in the video!.....and that poor Mr. Mercer.
For a guy who fought about 90 times in an era with Ali, Frazier, and Foreman - I'm amazed how sharp Georges still is.
