  • This is the 11th video in a series on how to design a PRS SE-24 guitar in Fusion 360. In this video I will review the CAM involved in creating the fretboard, including the index holes, inlays, outside contour, radiused top and fret slots.

    I had the same problem with CAM those pocket operations in Fusion when using a same diameter cutter. But took those projected lines then. The downside was always that I don't have modeled frets. No big deal though.
    What I really didn't know about were those manufacturing models. I'll give this a try, soon.

    Didn't you want to cut fret slots instead of inlays at the end ? 😅
    Anyway thank you, your work is very clean. My projects are way more messy, I have to work my indexation !
