Designing a PRS Guitar in Fusion 360 - Part 7: Neck Joint & Truss Rod Slot

This is the 7th video in a series on how to design a PRS SE-24 guitar in Fusion 360. In this video I will create the neck joint, mortise the neck for a pickup cavity and add a truss rod slot.

I stumbled on your channel today and just finished watching this series. Absolutely FANTASTIC content! I've been using SOLIDWORKS for many years now but have been looking for the appropriate, affordable software for personal use to ultimately design and build guitars using a CNC machine I recently purchased. I've watched dozens of videos on this topic and many more on Fusion 360. This series is by far the best I've seen. GREAT WORK! I look forward to upcoming videos for CAM and hope to see the finished product. Your son will, no doubt, be pleased!

I'm really glad you're enjoying the PRS videos and thank you for the feedback. I really don't hear from enough viewers, so your comments are much appreciated. I've been teaching a Fusion Timber Framing course at Yestermorrow, which has taken up a good deal of time, but that's over this week, so I will be returning to the PRS videos and build. I've been working on custom inlays on the fretboard, so I think that will be the next video.
